Shooting a Natural Mesquite TTF frame & a few updates on the Garden 😁
Ойын-сауық
Hello shooters, many of you have been asking me in regards to how the peach trees are doing in Texas soil and how the garden is progressing. Here is an update on that as well as me shooting this TTF frame that was gifted to me by my good buddy lonestar catapults.
Hope you enjoy and keep on shooting,

I love natural fork slingshots. That Garden of yours is great 👏👏👏🙌. In my area the peach trees go well to. I have added allot of citrus like the Calamansi, lime, lemon, orange, grapefruit, mandarin and blood orange. If SHTF you will eat well my friend. Those Mesquite trees are awesome. Love slingshots 😁.

You can carve it more, and give it a proper a shape. Then, go and show it to him, and tell him if he would still want it for his barbeque!

Thanks for the comment bro. he has several made out of mesquite trees that are a piece of art. The finishes he uses also makes them shine, just beautiful pieces. Finishing this one up is not a bad idea. 🙂👍
Ok it looks like it dose the job 👍🏼👍🏼. What dose the pod taste like? God bless my friend.

Thanks brother it sure does, the pods are sweet and tangy when they are fully dried, almost like tamarind but sweeter. People make mesquite flour or honey out of it. Take care brother, God bless

I thought this was amusing. That crab reminded me of crabs I saw in a nature documentary. When it comes to being a lady's crab, it's all about the size of your claw with the type they were talking about. The biggest males chase away every other male and wave their claw like a flag at the females. Medium size males aren't dumb. They set up shop away from the big ones and surround themselves with little males. The out of sight, out of mind strategy. Their claw looks massive compared to all the little guys in sight. Since the the females can't see the truly big guys, they choose him. They have a bit fun and boom, baby crabs!

Awesome! These crabs 🦀 are all over the property. Funny thing the nearest water source is miles away, the ocean. I find them fascinating. I’ve also noticed that when they feel threatened they cut off their own claw and hand it over to their prey and make a run for it. Seen it several times when birds try to eat them. Once again appreciate your thoughtful comment. Thank you 🙏

@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 I'm curious how far you are from the ocean? I know that if you go back far enough, you can find a common ancestor to crabs, lobster, roaches, scorpions etc. Animals moved from the sea and later moved back to it. Example. Seals apparently are related to bears. Prior to either of them, some kind of lung fish hauled its arse onto land hundreds of millions of years earlier. I suppose I'm asking if your local crabs are entirely land base and just haven't found a need to evolve a different body plan.

@@forksandspoons7272 fascinating, the ocean is about 45 miles from where I live. So I’m trying to do further research if the property used to be an old dried up lagoon or what, because there are thousands of crabs 🦀.

@@k.o.skeeponshooting235 they could be primarily ocean crabs who found a sweet deal recently, in geologic terms. If you think about it, time is the only real factor. Worms are found all over the world and those guys don't move very fast. They simply had enough time to get from A to the rest of the alphabet and adapt into hundreds of different kinds as the need arose. I've had robin smashing into my window daily recently. They shake it off and fly away immediately. They often died when I was kid. My theory is that Robins with a gene mutation for thicker skulls have survived window strikes better over the last forty plus years and became the dominant generic stain in the population. In the case of birds, being thick headed isn't necessarily a bad thing. ROFL 😂
