No risk in salt water?
The loop on mine broke off after 2 years and hundreds of swims, but other than that, they were flawless. Just ponied up my cash for another set😁

This product was out for years. Why is it getting anounced now? (I don't see an update in the hardware)

Well, even if bluetooth worked underwater I doubt anyone swims/surfs with their phone. Thats the charm of an offline headset. No need for a phone or internet data.

@@xb6xx A pair of board shorts can be worn in the water or on a jiu jitsu mat, with full function. If the Shockzhad Bluetooth you could connect your phone and listen to Spotify while running.
