The X-15 is a more refined X-14 IMO. Both are amazing helmets anyone would love to ride in. - Van

I rode on the highway 1 time without earplugs and already have a slight bit of tinnitus from it. I'm surprised he's not already regretting it.

They take a little while to get used to for sure. Once you do they become invisible. - Van

Thanks for constantly putting videos together. My ears ring even riding with ear plugs. I wish I had used ear plugs sooner. You will regret it down the road not using ear plugs.

I have told this kid 1000 times to wear the damn ear plugs. Some lessons need to be learned on a more personal level and they come at an expense. We are all guilty of this in one way or another. Thanks for watching, we are blessed to be doing what we are. - Van

@@sportbiketrackgear does he use foam plugs? Has he tried race plugs from a company like Alpine or Earpeace? They're silicon and might work better for him.

I'm still rocking the qwest even tho I own 3 other higher end shoei helmets. Gonna try a x15

Thanks for the review! Which one is better for tuono factory ? Which is half faired and I don't ride chin on the tank. Which one fits tighter and less noisy in 3/4 riding position?

Can y’all test this back to back with the RPHA 1N? I’m a current X-14 owner and used an RPHA 11 Pro before it, and I’d like to know which way to go for an upgrade. Edit, just saw that you recommended the Shoei over the HJC 👍🏾

I have ridden in both the X-15 and RPHA 1N on the same weekend. IMO they are both excellent helmets with the X-15 having a slight edge on over the RPHA. I found the X-15 to be a little quieter and it offered a fit that I preferred over the RPHA. As I said at the start they are both excellent helmets, odds are you would be happy riding in either one. - Van

Love Shoei but. I do love my arai Corsair X more.. it’s leaps and bounds much more comfortable than x15

I wear a L in the RF-1400, would it be the same in the X-15?

Yes I would order the same size in the X-15. I wear a medium in both. - Van

Any thoughts on glasses wearers? I really like the X14 but it pinches the back of my head just a bit where my glasses rest and causes them to lift slightly. Thanks guys!

The X-15 has channels for the arms of your glass and the glasses fit in their nicely. That said I did find while the glasses were comfortable they did not sit on my nose the way I prefer. - Van

Hey guys a quick question on the X-15. It comes with a chin curtain and lower spoiler. The chin curtain is mostly fabric while spoiler is ridged rubber or plastic. The user manual/instructions shows the install of both but doesn’t mention one or the other only? I was able to put both in place but wanted to ask if either of you might offer your input? Thanks guys! Much appreciated 😀

@@sportbiketrackgear I had the same question. Good to run you don't run either. Do you find the rigid rubber chin spoiler just doesn't offer any aero/noise benefit?

With both helmets fitting my head, would you recommend this over the HJC RPHA 1N.

I fully expect to see one at some point this season. If you are in need of one now you can use the one that fits the RF-1400. The only difference is the race shield lock will not be able to be used.
