Hi and thanks for your kind words. Both the Belstaff jacket and the Shoei Glamster helmet are great! I've not been very active this year since my brother passed away - I just lost the drive to do anything really. But with time and your kind words along with what many others have said has helped me get through this and I plan to do more next year. Best wishes. Nick

Having just caught up with this glamster review i was wondering how you got on putting speakers in the recess in the helmet. Having tried one on recently there didn't seem much room. Cheers

Good question! All I can say is that I wear glasses and ear plugs when riding and both are not an issue with this helmet. Inside there are resesses either side so I think there would be room for speakers. Additionally, I belive that you can get different sized linings - speak with Motolegends or Urban rider to check that.

Does it take a standard pinlock? I'd like the photochromic pinlock. I ordered this in black and Grey. How you like the smoked visor?

This is the first time I've used a smoked visor and I really like it. Really reduces the glare from the sun and of course it looks great! The pinlock came with it and it looks like the usual high end that you'd expect from Shoei. I've not fitted it yet and had no fogging issues but I will before winter arrives. Black and grey will look very smart! Enjoy!

Hi Michael - I've had one ride wearing it and it's a great helmet. Fit and looks work for me BUT I think it is noisy above 50 mph so ear plugs in future for me! I've worn ear plugs for many many so maybe I'm just used to needing them. Cheers

I got the extra small! I think this style of helmet (very round and smooth) probably makes it look bigger compared to modern angular helmets. Just a thought

Having just seen your shoei glamster crash helmet review and you spoke about wanting to put a comment Mike in. My question is, how did you get on putting speakers in?Having tried on a glamster just recently there didn't seem much room for any speakers. Cheers.

How are you getting on with the Shoei?

Good question and I should have given an update! It's a quality helmet and it has the looks but it is noisy. I wear "made to measure" ear plugs so it's not a major problem. When I tried it without them then anything above 45/50 mph was a problem for me. It makes sense anyway to protect your ears so I do! If and when I get another bike I might try the new Shoei flip lid. Hope this helps. Cheers

​@thesussexrider Probably because you didn't put in the chin guard which is pretty essential for wind noise reduction.

rubbish helmet so noisy i got rid of it ... pos.... ARAI is the only brand worth buying

I'm actually a big Shoei fan but this one is noisy above 50mph for sure. You definitely need ear plugs!
