It’s nice to hear such a stylish woman say she doesn’t like high heels and doesn’t wear them. I hate heels and I hate feeling like I have to have some in order to be well dressed! No thanks.

Exactly! It's all about what you're comfortable in, and I personally think if you're not comfortable in something then you aren't going to be confident, so whats the point? We all just have to find what works for us ❤️❤️

Yes! I feel like every other Staples video says you absolutely need a pair of heels. I own some for a special occasion, but by no means are they essential for everyone.

It’s so refreshing to hear someone make the point that it’s all about your lifestyle. So many basic must-have videos don’t consider that and just push this idea that in order to be fashionable or ‘put together’ your wardrobe MUST include an uncomfortable formal wear and heels. You can be comfortable or practical and still stylish! Really glad to have found your channel!

kateuhpillar right!!!! All these minimalist ppl on youtube are unrealistic to people who have a life. I go to church and sing at church, have a corporate life, active life with kids! LOL I need 3 pumps in essential colors, 3 pair of flats in essential colors and 2 pairs of tennis shoes. Winter is a whole other ball game according the temperature same thing with summer!

I am not a shoe person at all, I always saw shoes as something that is just necessary, I would get myself a pair and I would wear it every single day till it falls apart. I am trying to expand a little bit and try to see the aesthetic factor in them since they can make the outfit. Thanks for the video. As always very useful!

-a pair of heels -flat shoes -boots (knee high/ankle) -casual shoes (flip flops/sneakers -statement shoe a personal addition: -rain boots

i get so much crap from friends for not being that into heels. i had them but i just couldn't get with them, and found other shoes better alternatives. it's so nice to see other girls who aren't into heels too :D

I also love flats, I feel most put together when I am wearing pointy toe shoes with ankle pants, I find it charming when a woman is not trying too hard

Great video! I don't wear a lot of heels either but I kept a few for special occasion and I try to wear them in a relax dinner. I wear flats mostly all the time and sneakers and it's so comfortable!

As a Russian, I have several pairs of boots for different types of weather (fall/spring or winter) and for different outfits too 😅 flat shoes or heels are not necessary at all, I have 1 pair for like theater and hardly wear them due to lockdown, but sneakers are a must (1 pair of basics for work and 1 of sport's sneakers for walks, as a minimum). Yes, it is all about the lifestyle! Thank you for saying it out loud!

I like the idea of a statement shoe. As I pair down my wardrobe I will keep that in mind. Thanks!

I am not a shoe person so I have 6 pairs of shoes that I use! White sneaker, black sneaker, black boot, rain boots and red sandals. I live in sweden where its pretty cold in the winter so I also have like "snowshoes" but that gets worn maybe 3 months of the year. Thank you for a great video!

Good video. As a teacher also looking for comfortable flats. Booties are an essential for me living in Switzerland. As a plus size am on a hunt for a good boot but haven't found ones that fit my wide calf's yet. Also actually looking for leopard print loafers as a statement piece.

You did a really good job with this video. I saw a cute pair of leopard loafers on Steve Madden’s website if you’re interested. They are kind of pricey. However, I’ve bought several shoes from his brand lately, and I find them to be really cute and good quality. :)

I have included a lot of your selections and being in MI boots are essential for me too. I am investing in some nicer quality boots this year because right now I have several cheap pairs and I’d like to go for quality vs quantity now that I’m simplifying my life. I have a pair of nude and clear strap sandal small heels. I bought them for a wedding because I knew since they were pretty low and clear with a nude bottom I could make them work for so many occasions. Since clear shoes are pretty trendy right now I went with a super simple design and I think I can make them work for awhile as least to get my use out of them.

Great tips. I agree with you, I also live in Canada and boots for me are more important and essential than sandals. Where do you live? I noticed that you said "trash". Where I live we say "garbage". Put the garbage in the garbage can and take the garbage out. I guess you can say trash though.

Most of my shoes are pretty neutral, but I do have one pair of suede boots that are a maroon color that I've enjoyed for a couple years now. I will say that when it comes to heels though, I prefer ones that have a wedge- they're really comfortable on me! :)

MissBeau2ful really expensive but if you are looking for a really good quality pair of boots that can last you years, look up Stuart Weitzman boots
