His multiple times obsessively demanding to do the dog medicine thing, to potentially put the baby in danger, just to follow his command, is just another power move, from which he gets his kicks from. her needing "discipline" Steven mentioned is likely saying future escalation into physical abuse is coming and already pre-emptively blaming her for it. like "disciplining children" means beating them. euphemism borrowed from the bible, to hide abuse in flowery words from religion, an age-old clever trick to use against religious women. like "respect" meaning submissiveness that does not argue back. this is also in the territory and language of Dominant/submissive relationships in the BDSM world, trying to non-consensually turn into that. that's how I see it. It's also gender blind, women abusers do it to victim men, too. then it just isn't hidden in biblical flowery language, because the bible doesn't have flowery language for women dominating and abusing men, like all Abrahamic religions have, Quran, Hebrew, and Christian bible.

When I was pregnant my husband changed the litter box every single day. It’s not his cat, he doesn’t like the cat. The risk of toxoplasmosis from an indoor cat is so low. But he changed the litter box for 9 months without complaint because there was a possibility it could hurt the baby.

It is creepy, but you there are plenty of criticisms of no-fault divorce that are valid. Marriage should be taken seriously, and it should be for life. Making it incredibly easy to divorce (when there is no infidelity or abuse) degrades the institution of marriage. The whole point of marriage is to commit yourself to someone for life, in sickness and health, til death do you part. BUT Crowders whole point doesn't make sense as spousal abuse has always been a justification for divorce, and it's arguable that he is an abuser.

It happens to men also…my ex brother in law is still in therapy 10 years after his brutal divorce from my NPD sister. When you are pregnant with twins, that is often considered a high risk pregnancy. Even if not she would be on BED REST long before this point! It's very difficult to keep the babies in the womb full term; they're frequently born premature. So the goal is to rest as much as absolutely possible to try and keep them in the womb as long as you can. It's utterly insane for her to be grocery shopping at this stage.

He said if you're not gonna go get the groceries, then I'll take the car to get the groceries, you can take an Uber to go do whatever it is you're gonna do. Because apparently when she takes the car, he's just stuck there, and his schedule is I'm sure a whole lot tighter than his unemployed pregnant wife's. It's so bizarre to me that none of you are at all actually listening to the words, or seeing where the edits were conveniently cut. I get it though. There are a lot of people who want to take Crowder down. I'm sure more will come out soon, because he has petitioned the judge to unseal all of the records from the divorce proceedings, including testimony, evidence, and FULL video. He said if you're not gonna do that, then I'll take the car to go get the groceries. This was a particularly nasty divorce on both sides. Records were sealed for privacy, but since she has decided to leak video, he has petition the judge to unseal EVERYTHING and make it public. It's kind of funny that he is ready to be fully transparent, while the wife only released a heavily edited video, that she leaked to a well known gossip journalist grifter. I'm guessing she probably thought that because the records were sealed, he wouldn't be able to show his side of the story.

It’s important to keep in mind that her “patience” with him is purely out of fear in an attempt to protect herself. It’s one of our responses as humans. She knows she’s in a dangerous situation. And many time when men have been acting dangerously around me, I have to do diffuse the situation calmly and direct the conversation in a way that doesn’t fire them up anymore but helps me get away. It’s such a difficult and terrifying situation to be in. Because if you do defend yourself and slap them in the face with the reality, they will most likely escalate the situation and hurt you. She is very pregnant and scared.

This kind of behavior gradually develops overtime. As someone who had been in emotionally abusive relationships, no one tries to get into them. You date someone and commit to them and things slowly come up, but they're little things at first. Things continue to escalate, and then eventually you get to a point where you may be scared of your partner and what to leave but don't have the means to do so or are even scared of leaving. Based on this comment, it tells me that you haven't been the abused in a relationship like this and don't understand how things get to this point. Rather than saying that Crowder should act normal and respectful to women, you place the responsibility on the woman for them to choose better. Abuse happens in many different relationships and is actually more common between couples who live together but aren’t married than for married couples. Abuse is really an issue unto itself that should be addressed directly with special programs, education, therapy, and intervention. Trying to solve the problem of DV by making marriage less secure isn’t very effective and causes other harm. Divorce still has it’s own problems for families and children. For ex: stepparents have much higher rates of abuse against their spouse’s children so even exposing children to the parents new partners poses a set of risk. People need to be educated on both fronts, marriage does offer protection and social benefits that go beyond the spouses with the right perspective and tools (like couples counseling) we could lower the divorce rate while still actively providing help to those in abusive situations. It’s not all or nothing. These days many young people don’t even want to marry and it makes sense seeing as marriages are not very secure. Yes sometimes divorce is absolutely necessary for one’s safety, however the divorce rate is like 40-50% so it’s quite high even considering those cases.

Your comment places the responsibility on WOMEN to make responsible choices, when the problem is people like Crowder who are highly manipulative. Do you think that women are just choosing to be with abusive people? Someone can actually be a manipulative, abusive person and not show that side of themselves until their partner has already committed to them in some form or fashion.

Good on her for leaving him! If he's doing this to her when she's about to give birth, imagine when she wasn't pregnant. He's such an example of that crappy alpha male vibe. She said her heart sank into the pit of her stomach as she froze and listened. Right then the baby flipped over twice when it was not really doing anything…she found out something fell of the shelf when the AC came on. The baby is exposed to every hormone she has including stress hormones. They are affected.

The amount of men thinking this is normal is exactly what is wrong with Society. What the actual, fuck it’s so disturbing. It’s says everythingggg about what kind of a man you are if you are defending this. This I’m sure was literally a normal day scenario is the sad thing. Imagine when it was a really bad fight. The women find the strength when they have children and realize they need to give their kids the best life and protect them. I’m sure he recents those kids so bad because she left after she had them. I’ve seen it a lot in abusive relationships. Men like this use the kids as pons only to scare the mother in to taking them fro her so she does whatever he wants to. My sister went through this. Friends, co workers. It’s disgusting.

Small glimpses into peoples lives like this aren't always fair. I had a girlfriend who was pregnant that I told "I didn't love you and I was leaving her". What happened right before that moment I had told her family and mine about the pregnancy. 15 minutes after that she told me she had cheated and she wasn't sure who the father was. I was the father and got full custody. He could be an awful person but I'm always wary when one side that has financial reasons release it.

Pregnant with twins at 8 months means she’s close to being full term. Most twins are born prematurely. He doesn’t give a shit about her or the babies. I feel for her, I’m not much else informed on what’s happened with them since this but I hope she can get out of there and safely.

He’s a good example of the underbelly of American manhood.

He thinks she's going to take the car and not come back. 100%. She says I love you to try and assure him she wouldn't leave. And she says if you didn't let me leave to get groceries I will have someone pick me up. Probably a girl friend or family member. And he says is that a threat? Like he's worried about her leaving him for another man or calling the police or something idk. She was so strong to put this out. Good for her.

I want nothing more than to give that woman a hug. I can’t confirm but it looks like his dogs are Dogo Argentinos. I have a Dogo and they are incredibly powerful hunting/guarding dogs. Couples do that for each other but it seems like he onviously didn’t want to but also didn’t want her to take the car, Uber was his best option for her which honestly sure just take an Uber but she has 2 kids inside her. I cannot imagine that is comfortable so taking a Uber with a stranger in a car you’re not familiar with might be annoying especially if you have a bunch of groceries you need to bring back. I read an article of him speaking about the divorce. He doesn't say the failure was because of his own actions. He said, "it was the worst failure of my life". Then went to say "I chose wrong". Blaming her again! Lol

Expectations of marriage. He had his expectations and she wasn't meeting them. She had hers and he wasn't meeting them. Nine times out of ten this is what leads to divorce

It seems like she’s trying to de-escalate the situation but he keeps purposely reeling her back in by saying more things to instigate an argument - The only way the interaction would have ended is if she obeyed what his said

Everything he felt the need to say was not occurring was actually occurring. I can bet $1,000,000 he was cheating and there was mental and physical abuse
