Knetizens seem to think that she is fighting a corporation as a small person in the company--and they bought the visual /imagery of MHJ in the press conference, wearing plain clothes, messy hair, etc. Reading the translations of what she said there, they sounded like gripes of a disgruntled employee. She never addressed the core issue. Nothing was achieved by her presscon. Public sympathy/opinion doesn't win court cases, where is her counter evidence? Hybe has paper trail on her proving her deeds. It's more solid.

That's what I'm most concerned about too. And her response to the serious accusations from HYBE is to say "Well, Illit is copying New Jeans!" I mean c'mon, tell me you're guilty without telling me you're guilty. That is in no way a good legal response and she shows that she has no problem throwing other groups under the bus for her own personal gain. That statement alone made me so angry because she knows exactly what that would do. It was made for the sole purpose of getting New Jeans fans riled up. Actually there is NO Hybe if it wasn't for BigHit. It was only then when Bang PD started procuring smaller Music companies crashing the Big 3 Music Entertainment companies (JYP, SM n YG) who looked down on him n BTS way back BigHiT was only starting in a garage. When he bought and supported these companies by allowing them relative independence to manage their own artists, while funding them to produce music and to show their individuality. It was pure hardwork of Bang Shi Hyuk to reach his status today along with BTS. I have not seen him acting out like MHJ while managing a growing company. He protects his artists and company by following the legal system.

Just stupid on so many levels. If she thought BigHit copied BTS from her, then why join Hybe? And why keep documentation and plans about trying to leave ON HYBE PROPERTY. On its networks, on its computers…I don’t know if it’s stupidity or the firm belief that she’s smarter than everyone and no one would ever think to catch her. I think that’s what it boils down to. She seems to have this view that she’s smarter than everyone and she’s thought of everything first, and all ideas can ultimately be traced back to her as the origin because of her brilliance. I’m glad Hybe’s knocked her down a peg. I hope the poor artists are spared from all of this and they have crisis counselors in there, because they are so young and this is NOT their fault. Such a waste. Like where do you get such a deal? She was a high rank position employee hired and paid to produce/create NewJeans and she was given 18% shares. Filling Hybe full of old sm employee's was a terrible mistake, they are not victims they are the ones that ruined S.m. It's cool HYBE has so much going on. We see on Weverse how jammed up it's getting. Personally I feel they are trying to overcompensate for BTS being away; take advantage of the momentum and buzz around them. However, Bangtan won't be in the military forever & this is something most management companies of male artists deal with from time to time. Lee may feel this is a good time BECAUSE of that, & knowing that Jin is home in a few weeks. And with that & with his concern for the groups solidarity as a whole, and love of ARMY I feel he will go balls to the wall putting out content to get everyone ready for the return of the brothers. I hope he gets his down time and readjust to home life, but we know what's in his blood. MUSIC. His time home can be used to push his own solo efforts which will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. He loves doing LIVES and posting on social and I really feel the Hyung in Jin can carry that load and will not feel pressured because of his dedication to the members & all of their careers. Suga is around someplace as well, but out of respect I feel he is keep a low low profile as to not take away from the others service. I have a feeling he feels like his service is 'less than' the others and IT'S SO NOT. But HYBE just needs to chill for a few more weeks. With the promos they are doing over the last few weeks, they are gearing up. There has to be a plan in place. They trust the artists and the artists trust them. Lee just needs to go. Sell YOUR 18% and BOUNCE. She's causing drama for the sake of causing drama to put HYBE in a bad light & stir up worry. Any artist working with her needs to be very weary of her motives. My issue is that after she’s called herself the ‘mother’ of these young girls, she didn’t hesitate to drag them into this issue. The youngest is 20 I believe. If she truly considers them as her children, she should have taken away from the drama. Let’s also remember BTS still brings in about 80% of all mientes that come in. Yes she was audited and documents were found that incriminate her in trying to take over the company with investors from kakao and SM. We shall see when she is taken to court.

Like imagine if she had bagged all the money she was going to make after the coming New Jean's comeback she could have gone to new investors, laid out the financials results and asked them to approach HYBE to make a BIG investment into Adore (without HYBE knowing her ties with the new investors of cos), that way HYBE's share % can potentially be watered down. If she got enough new investment beyond 31% e.g. 31% + 20% of her shares, she could have full control of the company.

I think her portrayal of minors is beyond sexualisation to be honest. If you look at her past work in Shinee, f(x) and Red Velvet, there is a twisted obsession of a really juvenile aesthetic with sexual insinuations, it's quite disturbing.

i'm not a business expert, but i don't think you can(and i'm sure there were extensive contracts signed in the beginning stating this as well) just join a large company, have them pay for most of your stuff from the beginning, help you with the marketing(even just being associated with Hybe gave her a huge boost, i'm subscribed to Hybe Labels KZread just so i can watch BTS stuff but i'm getting all the notifications for everyone else too, including NewJeans), and then try to buy the group and your sublabel once you've earned enough money. which again, she has earned most of this thanks to Hybe at this point, had she gone independent it would've most likely taken her way longer to get to this level of success, including the money aspect. she wouldn't have the money to buy the label if she wasn't with Hybe. and with only a 20% ownership, you can't just go up to the people who own 80% and demand they sell it. pretty sure Hybe has every right to not sell if they own 80%.

It's not demanding to sell it. Its doing it secretly. The accusation is that it's corporate espionage, which is illegal and a crime against the company. If the accusation is true then its jail for her. Idk if lying in auditing is possible but I heard that there is no chance the HYBE audit is a bluff or fraudulent bcoz Audits are far too easy to verify by any party for a huge conglomerate to risk being completely destroyed in court....is what I heard. You're absolutely right that people tend to fixate on certain themes that caused them drama. It's clear to me that she has an obsession with the puberty time of life and all the feelings abd and new experiences that come with it. That can be innocent like first love but it can also be inappropriate like fixating on the developing body or first se*ual thoughts abd and feelings. I’m a bit confused… It’s not feasible for her to seize control because she only owns 18% of the company's shares. Hybe owns the majority, 80%, making it impossible for her to control Ador, a subsidiary of Hybe. Without Hybe's agreement, Ador cannot operate independently from Hybe. I’m not on Hybe’s, nor Min Heejin’s side - I’m just confused lol

We need to clarify: Hybe isn’t responsible for bringing BTS; BTS is the reason Hybe exists. They also remain under Big Hit, which became an arm (subsidiary) of Hybe but, speaking simplistically, they operate independently of Hybe - for all intents and purposes, BTS has control over their group. So, this ‘battle’ is of no consequence to BTS. We also need to clarify that BTS was not a ‘c’ level group! What they were doing was innovative and unique to the typical ‘Idol blueprint’. THAT’S why they were looked down on and mistreated (plus they weren’t one of the ‘big 3’ agencies) but they were never ‘c-level’.
