Which specifically claim about the US is not true? If anything Chinese media has for years treated the US with less vitriol than what US media does (depending on who the leader is).

No ! I disagree. What China media said was true and fair ! They didn't lie or smear the US. I have followed CGTN and CCTV both of them didn't smear the US but only talk about facts. No lies whatsoever but just truth !
