I enjoyed this video. I'm in the blue lodge and was thinking in a couple of years of exploring the A&A Scottish Rite.

I think many people who have achieved great things have achieved it because they believe in themselves. to do this, you have to constantly reflect on yourself in interaction with your environment. In addition, this brings with it a wealth of life experience and experience in dealing with other people, as well as the awareness of one's own responsibility. Anyone who has embarked on this path has a character that is cosmopolitan and tolerant, is constantly developing and is interested in the things of the world. Anyone who does this from the bottom of their hearts naturally has the mental and physical qualities of being a Freemason in addition to their professional qualities. for him there must inevitably be more in the world than himself!

Karma means action or your doing..you reap what you sow..the thoughts you sow are the acts, objects, and events that you reap...the law of thought is the law of morality.....all is law....

It’s nonsense. Already saw it. It’s a total lie and banks on the fact that its readers are too lazy to look at other sources.

The Masonry back in the day was a way more powerful organizational suit. That Dr. Draper was given such a large sum of financial assistance shows the Masonic brotherhood definitely had a powerful financial backbone that extended charities for brothers wanting to pursue a better life. Wow! you don't see that as much anymore.

I think it is seen, but kept quiet. I know of a few instances. Masons have come to be more quiet about charity for fear of being seen as using charity for publicity.

I believe a Mason in a car dealership helped me get a better loan for my car. I’m not even a Mason but he saw my situation and helped. Unfortunately I got into a hit and run incident which totaled that car I was so upset I lost it but when I bought my next car at a different dealership the guy approving me for a loan was racking his brain trying to figure out how they even gave me that loan before. Showed me that they are good men willing to help those who are also good natured and that’s something everyone should live by. Masons don’t pick favorites like people think they help good people be better even if you’re not in the organization.

This is crazy, this channel popped up like a month ago in my youtube, and I looked and only saw 3 or 4 voice videos ( with a yellow background) , and one with the " Vendetta" masks, I forget the title. Did i some how get acess to the subscription only videos? ❤ if so, thank you.

Is there a way I can find out if one of my ancestors was a Mason? My Grandfather, on my Father's side of the family, was an actual Stone Mason in Upstate NY. My father was not a religious man so we rarely spoke about the subject. He did believe in God, and he had an outstanding moral character. Unusually strong and progressive for his age. I know his father was a great inspiration in his life, and I would like to know if he was a Mason. Unfortunately there is no one in my family I can ask

Try and find out what lodge he was near. I’m having the same issue with my grandfather. Call the Grand lodge in New York. Give them his name, birthdate and death date. Do you have that?

Also they usually have a Shrine you will remember going to add a child for events. This site is still under construction. ❤

Its not an either or situation, and several years of research demonstrates that men who are active in appendant bodies, are more active in their Blue Lodges.

No one is doing that. No one renounces their faith at all. You’re entirely wrong. You know nothing about it. I’m a Christian and the fraternity has brought me closer to my faith and made me more active in my church (Presbyterian, though sometimes I do go to the Catholic Church with my dad and the Methodist with my in-laws). Aren’t you willing to say “perhaps I’m wrong and been lied to by the history channel?” ~ME

There was alot of talk in church about this in the 80s when I was a little girl. Most the men in my Baptist church were Masons. The original poster did only write " many of them" are going to hell, so perhaps the poster was only referring to the non- Christian Masons. I do know this question has occupied minds way before the history Channel. All Masons in my family are dead, and they literally told me nothing of this internet stuff. Also I didn't have cable TV till I was 17 or so. I just read encyclopedias and stuff lol. Thank you for the extra videos, I couldn't see them before. This is hard! If you want to be " extreme" in any religion, I think it would be difficult to be a member. Especially these days, no one keeps their opinions to themselves ( 😂me right now) . But imagine trying to get a Muslim, Jew, and Christian all together on a vote. The Masons did it! By making ba rule " don't talk about politics or religion, and don't ask a man his wages or what he paid for something ". It was NECESSARY in forming the country as we have it. You can't even get a Republican and Democrat in the same place without a fight!

curiosity grows into speculation. As a Sir Knight and a 32° Mason I can say that it is bible based. If you want to know ask one to be one.

+Scotty Jett I did just that tonight. I came to Free Masonry as an elderly man. I was surrounded by Free Masons & kept waiting on one of them to ask me to join. I finally got so fed up that I asked my best friend, "What do I need to do to join the local police Masonic Lodge." He told me that I just did. Tonight, after my local police Master Mason meeting, I asked how do I join the Scottish Rite. They said, that I just did. I filled out my petition tonight.

i just don't see whats so grand about the scottish rite. i came here to find out more about it. but it just seems like you sit and watch 29 "plays". some of which are shown on a DVD in some lodges...i just don't see whats so special. I love blue lodge, and i'm joining the shrine this fall. I get that you can reveive "even further light" i guess you could say with the scottish rite, but if plays and going to a reunion twice a year is all i can really look forward to with this. then its not for me

Recall that "Wisdom dwells in contemplation." "Knowledge is obtained by degrees." If you really understand that, you will be way ahead of the rest of the pack. These plays can open you up on other levels--if you are ready--but many people aren't ready, but they might think they are. Enemies of Freemasonry don't understand the significance of these very important axioms.
