I don't see that Connery 'stressed' about his image. He seemed to say what he believed. As for sensitive topics, an interviewer looking for truth over soundbites or gotcha moments would ask more questions.

I've never beat a woman and honestly never even get into verbal arguments with the women I date, but I did date a woman in college who liked Sean Connery (she had a well-watched VHS of Medicine Man), and I can say she should have dated Connery because she could have used a good slap. She's the only woman I dated who, from the moment she came to live with me, threw herself at every man in a ten-mile radius that had a degree that was going to being in a lot of money. She constantly disrespected me until she eventually started dating a well-off man about Sean Connery's age. I'm sure he qualifies for Medicare by now since he was 50 years older than she was.

Before moving to the city i grew up in my grandmother's village and one of our neighbors had like 3 wives, in the village we have homesteads so the properties are massive... The houses are built like really big courtyards with small dwellings... Now this man had little dwellings for each of his wives, they didn't use one cooking area, they all had they're own... And from what we could see they all really loved each other, they treated each other as sisters and had alot of respect for their husband... I don't think love has anything to do with the number of people partaking in a relationship...

If anyone is interested. Dianne Cilento was nominated for an Academy Award opposite Albert Finney in 1963 Best Picture Winner Tom Jones. She was also in Martin Ritts 1967 Western Hombre. Where she steals every scene she is in with Paul Newman, and Cameron Mitchell and Richard Boone. The Hill was the first of five films Sean Connery made with American Director Sidney Lumet. Temperature averaged about 110-115 during the day on location in Spain. It’s about 5 British soldiers inside a Stockade during the Second World War. It was a personal favorite of Sean’s. Made between Bond film # 3 Goldfingerabd # 4 Thunderball. Harry Andrews plays the RSM in The Hill. Ian Hendry plays the sadistic psychotic monster Staff Williams. Jack Watson ,Roy Kinnear Alfie Lynch and American Actor Ossie Davis play the other soldiers in the same cell as Connery s busted Sergeant-Major Joe Roberts. Hombre and The Hill both worth a look !!!!!

Sean was a human being. He said something he should not have said, so what, we all have. Sean was a proud masculine, heterosexual man.WOMEN WANTED TO MARRY HIM, AND MEN WANTED TO BE HIM. BOND, JAMES BOND. Today March,17,2022, this society is being taught to hate the masculine Sean Connery kind of man. The only masculine man in films today, that i can think of is Dwayne Johnson( the rock). The problem is that his characters are cartoonish, and somewhat silly. This is how hollywood emasculates him.

I went to doctors and was told, not asked to leave his office as he didn't want to get involved with it..I felt like scum. Went to police and they never even contacted him. I gave up. We also had to get husbands permission to open a bank account or buy on account. Leave this poor man alone, he is dead, why pick on him now.... Bloody disgusting.

He was right all along, there are woman who take it to the wire, think about Johnny Depp/Amber Heard, perhaps it was stupid to say it in an interview I understand that. Havent we all made stupid moves, in our live sometimes ? But why should every man be bad and every woman good ? We all know that ain't the truth

Sean was the only ‘bond’ not because he was the first but I love the 60’s as a complete decade. About Sean ‘off screen’ He was a complex human being and as humans we are NOT PERFECT. We all have flaws and Sean had as many as everyone else I know by the time of Thunderball he got fed up with playing the character About the interview he gave to Playboy Magazine in 1965 about slapping a woman and discussed with Barbara around 1987 I have known many women who get to a point of ‘taking it to the wire’ and getting so hysterical and aggressive they need a slap to calm them down I think women are the worst when it comes to behaviour especially when drunk Knowing that Sean had health issues since 1994 and he had suffered with Dementia and could not communicate and express himself it’s so sad. Dementia is the worst disease my mother having died of the same 🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿😢😢😢😢❤️❤️❤️👍 👍

He was a man born at the beginning of the last century! So was my father! What do you expect?? It was o.k. treating women like children and also get violent towards them, that doesn 't mean much. He was a great actor and an attractive man!

Sean Connery was the man. He didn't take crap of women. Nowadays, this type of man is labeled as being a hater of women. The first wife was probably a crappy woman. However, the second wife, treated him like a king. Like a man is suppose to get treated. R.I.P. Sean Connery.
