Thank you for showing the numbers and proof of the value of certain foods as well. ACV is the only vinegar that I cannot stand, I love all the others. Mentioning mustard, sauerkraut, vinegar and oil salad dressing, and even pickles made me so very happy. Much appreciation and admiration to you! Thank you, Cynthia Rucker 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

I agree that the bad taste of ACV is best masked by combining it with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and using it as a Salad Dressing. I sprinkle a layer of Nutritional Yeast Flakes on top of the Salad, then add ACV and EVOO to it. The Nutritional Yeast absorbs them and keeps the vinegar and oil from pooling at the bottom of the Salad. It is also a great source of B-Complex Vitamins. 👍

@@lorichet I also think small or moderate amounts of sugar are not a huge problem. Are gummies ideal? Nope. But I mean, 4g of sugar is hardly going to give you diabetes. I feel sometimes people go to the extreme on their advice. I bet it is more harmful for your health to obsess over the trace amounts of sugar in your diet versus just avoiding the big bad stuff. In a lot of ways, what these guys tout (him and Dr Berg) are sort of making perfection the enemy of good. That said, I have huge respect for both of those guys, I just think that they have one tool (keto/hammer) and to them, every problem is a nail that needs to be hammered.

I use ACV in smoothies (great!), I put some in mineral water with lemon (great!), and I make all my dressings with it and salsa. I think once your body recognizes, that ACV is a good thing, you start loving it. If I forget to put it in my smoothie there's something missing... Tip: Just dilute it with enough water if you drink it plainly - it´s not bad at all.

Great video. So far, I'm down 28 pounds of as today following your advice. My general rule- anything to "help" out with weight loss never works and is always loaded with sugar/crapola- I stay away from those keto bars and just stick with natural food. I do love ACV but I choose the bottle and go about it that way. I quit sugar 2 years ago and have never felt better. Anyways, great channel. Yes this is so true, I've drank the equivalent to the study 2 TBS and actually noticed significant weight loss. With the gummies in comparison it was absolutely nothing. I found a recipe that can make it tolerable to consume, chamomile tea with 2 TBS of ACV, and 1 TBS of fresh squeezed lemon juice. I drank this every other day with a meal to aid digestion as well, and lost a noticeable amount of weight, and i also noticed I had more energy and it was so much easier to wake up in the morning.

The addiction I believe to these Gummies is truely the Sugar, be it an alternate form of sugar or not. I think the "Healthy" idea that's being sold, is just something that makes people feel better about eating them lol. I think about lollies here & there, even dream about them sometimes, but I don't eat them, the short term enjoyment is only short term and that's how the cycle starts. Best to just avoid sugar all together.

Hi Dr. Sten Ekberg. I very much appreciate your videos and learn a lot from them. I think of them as true studies explained versus urban legends. I was wondering if you could sometime do a study on the milks out there, like Almond, coconut, cows milk etc.

Never liked candy unless it's mostly chocolate. Now I stick to the very dark chocolate and only eat it occasionally. I do ACV in water daily. It helps settle my stomach, and seems to help with innner ear inflamation.

I tried the acv gummies and realized it did nothing for me, I sometimes cannot stand the taste of the actual acv but I prefer it to the 'gummies' any day. Thanks for this informative video.

Thanks, Dr. Ekberg for the knowledge about supposedly healthy gummies. I am a type 2 diabetic and do not take any gummy vitamins. I would rather take the real thing. Plus, yes, I just realized about your talents on the drawing board. Amazing! God Bless!

this is very well explained. the deceptive marketing is real and systemic. its like saying ketogenic candy. this one of the few reasons why I started eating whole foods carnivore even after 8+ months of doing keto correctly.

Great analysis, Dr. Ekberg! (Sticking to the norm on this channel 😀). Such a coincidence, before watching this video my wife asked me about a bottle of ACV+KETO gummies that a friend handed over, she told her the product is great for weight lost because is expensive and it has great reviews! When I saw the nutrition fact I told my wife this is almost "pure sugar" as the additional benefits from other nutrients shows 0% of daily requirements. My recommendation to my wife was: If you want to use the product and get benefits, BEFORE TAKING THE GUMMY ROLL IT OVER THE SIDEWALK AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD, THEN WEIGHT LOSS WILL COME! LOL!! 😎 Now we know more about the Acetic Acid benefits, and have good idea of real food alternatives 🤓 Thank you!

I had a feeling these "gummies" were worthless! I take two tablespoons diluted with about 3 ounces of water and chug it down. The taste isn't that bad (once you get used to it). Just remember to brush your teeth after as ACV is pretty tough on the enamel of your teeth. Finally a question for Dr. Ekberg... Is it better to take it in the morning or before bedtime? Or, does it matter. Thank you for all your videos!
