@@theranteractually in a recent video Shmee said if he were to get a 05 GT he always wanted it in Yellow with black stripes and I agree it’s one of the best color combos on the 05 GT. So if he colors it it will be Yellow with Black Stripes. it was always my favorite color combo and it’s cool that he also wants the color to. It’s an amazing spec for the 05 personally. 👍

The Ford GT has always been my favourite of the Shmee'Mobiles. Not only does it look amazing it sounds awesome too. 🥰

I've been lucky enough to see a bunch of the cars at Goodwood but the GT is certainly the one that has the biggest impact for me (that includes the Zenvo!). Not just the look, the stance and the personalisations but the history behind its meaning. A car for a lifetime!

Was never impressed with The Zenvo myself. The Technologies is there, but the exterior is boring.

Still my favorite body style of any modern supercar/hypercar. Ford really nailed it with the design of the new Ford GT. I appreciate how your spec which may not be popular to a select few pays homage to racing tradition as well. That’s a forever car Tim, what a machine 👍🏻

The 05 GT needs to happen. I'm not a fan of repainting these kind of cars, but as said, painting it yellow with black stripes wouldn't hurt anyone :)

given how ceramic brake pads work and that audi charged me £1600 for front brakes on an RS thats a pretty decent price. LFA / SLR expect to pay 25k for brakes

Seems like Shmee is one of, if not the only Ford GT buyer/owner who actually did what Ford asked buyers to do with their GT, drive it and show it off on social media. Ford should hook Shmee up with something cool for that, imho.

I worked for Indianapolis motor speedway for a little while so I've seen some amazing cars but out of all the cars I've seen the GT by far one of the most beautiful cars I've ever seen.

Shmee is so dedicated to the story and history of his cars that even his fuel level in the Ford GT (15:39) is a nod to the car he is driving!

Incredibly humble man. Very honest and straightforward. You deserve all you have Tim.

I was at Le Mans in 2016 for the GT's race debut. What an experience! 50th anniversary of the GT at Le Mans and of course, they won! 1st, 2nd & 4th, I think. The car sounded unbelievable (well, the others did too) and had a very unique scream! There was lots of Ford stuff going on, Focus RS and Mustang and GT parade. All new models that year. I'd love to go again but the GT debut made it special!

Thanks for the restock on Shmoo I finally was able to get one to sit next to my signed Zenvo model.

15,000 pounds for service may seem okay but when you factor in only 12,000 miles over 5 years the costs per mile is at least 1.25 pounds per mile plus insurance and fuel.

5 years! Can’t believe how quickly time passes

I get all these clever bits of tech ar3 great, but we survived very well without cameras in our mirrors etc judging if we can get our car through a width restrictir. For a start, relatively normal cars like a genesis aren’t that wide even now, but definitely not a problem ten years ago. It’s only fitting all the tech on top of the amazing crash and safety tech that is making it a problem. And the width restrictors ar3 probably there to stop you taking vehicles like vans down there. I’m amazed based on rage adventures your gt has been on, how low your gt’s total mileage is. Tim, have we maybe had a sneak preview of one of the cars you beeped out? I think somehow a white high performance supercharged Ford is shortly to be driven or turbo trailered to th3 barn!

Tim: If you do get the 05 GT and change the color. I personally love it in Yellow with black stripes I remember as a kid I saw a model of the GT in Yellow and I loved it ever since. It’s still today one of my top five favorite cars. then when I got older and understood where the GT came from and it’s history I feel in love with it & it is my all time favorite car. 😊

Hopefully your coversation on the white 05 well driven us ford gt went well. Perhaps you have some negotiating room knowing you will be repainting yellow bubblebee with stripes ! Sounds like a proper nice driver car to add to the collection. The ownership costs hopefully should be more reasonable than the new ford gt which would be an interesting cost comparison.

I don’t love the Ecoboost V6 TT in this, but it’s a definitely a pretty car with a great story

I'm very curious to know if they are going to replace the current model anytime soon ? I absolutely love the current recarnation of the ford GT but I'm also hoping to see a modern take of the original classic rear end.

18:24 did you do no indicator on the roundabout? I noticed the Lotus had theirs on but thought you may have been going a different direction but then went towards the right also. Thankfully no one pulled out

Still looks amazing, the insurance, when recent newspaper article about a Range Rover costing £800 pm, looks very reasonable for the car.

I would suggest make shmoo the cow matching with ur cars specs for futur drops that would be cool
