Shocking First Impressions of TUNIS, TUNISIA! Is it SAFE? أجنبي في تونس
Welcome to a BRAND new country...TUNISIA! We arrived at Enfidha-Hammamet Airport and took a taxi direct to TUNIS! Checked into the Movenpick du Lac before heading out to explore the best of the city! We have found the people to be so friendly, the food to be good and we even found some local beers!

As for Tunis, the city is totally underrated. Where in the world can you find a place where old (Arab Medina) and new (French Ville Nouvelle) coexist side by side in a well kept state. And adding Carthage and Sidi Bou Said as part of Grand Tunis, this should be one of the most fascinating cities in the World.

I worked with a lovely lady from Tunisia and she told me what life was like for her and it sounded wonderful. I could tell she was homesick, she loved the uk but the laid back lifestyle of Tunisia was something she missed a lot. I would have liked to have visited but I have been struggling with cancer for most of my adult life 😔

Even after going 0-3 to Rome in the Punic Wars 1, 2 and 3 and Carthage empire being destroyed, the Carthage/Tunisian people still survived and are doing relatively well over 2000 years later. Amazing.

It's legal to drink beer in Tunisia and it's easy to find in most of restaurants , bars and markets
I LIKE THE WAY YOU GUYS ARE NOT GREEDY
You should visit the Grand Tunis or Great Tunis as well, so many things to visit in the suburbs and other cities, towns, neighborhoods and sites of the Greater Tunis.
you must come to soussa , nothing is hidden and everything is so close to each other , hotels are close by to the beach and also close by to bars and bars and near by the night clubs , It's amazing.
