The so called news channels have lost their minds, speculating, over dramatizing, ringing out the return of the “prodigal son, weeping and wailing over a reconciliation. I was diagnosed with cancer a couple of years ago and it brings a lot of unexpected emotions. The King should be allowed the time to adjust to the circumstances. My prayers are with him and the family.

Thank you for a special program to discuss King Charles' diagnosis. Thank God his cancer was caught early and his prognosis is good.

As somebody who has had cancer the hardest thing was dealing with the reactions of others, so my full sympathies are with the King and his family and the huge hope he makes a rapid and successful recovery!

I was diagnosed with stage 1 cancer in early December 22. By the end of February I had received surgery and a short course of radiotherapy. I then nursed my husband through a total knee replacement and we both flew to Australia to see our son and his family in June and I’m older than Charles. Cancer is no longer the death sentence it was and given His Majesty's excellent lifestyle I’m sure he’ll be back in no time. I wish him and all cancer patients the very best.

Yes. 4 yrs ago I survived Stage 4 metastasised Ovarian cancer. Major surgery 10 hrs. Hospital for 2 months, chemo for 1 year and I’m doing brilliantly. I think King Charles is very resilient and will get through this.

So happy to hear about your successful treatment and hope you continue to thrive. However, some cancers don't respond to treatment. I come from a family of five and have never had any signs of cancer. However, I've lost the rest of my family to cancer, as well as many cousins, aunts and uncles living overseas. These deaths have only occurred in the last couple of decades, so the treatment was pretty up to date.

I'm praying for the king and the royal family, all the best.

The king will recover from this fully. He keeps fit, eats well and stays active. If his condition was dire, he would have been re-admitted to the hospital immediately. He’s undergoing outpatient treatment and continues to work, so hopefully it was caught early. God Save the King!

@@lynettefinnigan9540 Well, they're not in the Will because all the monarch's assets go to the next monarch so as to avoid death duties. The Wills are then sealed - never to be seen again. The king may have made special bequests, but the bulk of it will go to William as the next monarch.

Well done to Rebecca for not going over the top to seek drama and just talk sense!

If it is at an early stage, then that is good news. Too many are burying him and not focusing on Charles getting better. Also the King is going to show concern for those suffering with cancer and their family. Ignore the Sussexes They are who they are and won't charge.

Absolutely, they have been the cause of untild stress, which leads to health issues.

The one carrying the biggest burden right now is Prince William. The last thing he needs right now is the despicable Harry. The fact that he announced he is coming shows that he thinks he is so important, it makes my stomach churn.

Filthy Harry should gag every time he has a thought of or says the name of Catherine, Princess of Wales. My favorite false headline was that Catherine has had a tummy tuck. She is very obviously the last person on Earth requiring that type of surgery. But it goes to show the things that are made up. I wish her a comfortable and speedy recovery.

As a 🇨🇦 I don’t want the King to come until he’s 100% better. I think Canadians would agree. Don’t feel the need to travel long distances because of guilt or anything. Just GET BETTER! Best wishes for a smooth recovery.

As someone who is watching his father slowly fade away from cancer the last 5 yrs I know how hard it is on the family as a whole. I pray his majesty is able to have a full or as close as possible recovery. God save the king and ALL who have been touched by cancer.

Harry is coming for his own selfish reasons. Before, he refused to return to the UK unless Meghan received a public apology from the RF. Also, he said returning to the UK was to dangerous, unless his security demands were met. What happened to all that?

​This isn't the security he wanted, he already had this security whenever he visited and this decision wasn't made by the King, it was made by the Met and the Home Office. Probably coming because the Netflix contract is coming to an end, and he'll be desperate for some kind of fodder to sell to get that contract extended. Personally, I'd be telling him to find himself a room somewhere and keeping him well away.

H&M should be required to sign NDA’s before having further contact with the royal family. And if they violated the NDA The royal family can then come down hard on them and still retain the public’s favor and support.

Even without NDAs the Royal family have every right to take titles and any relevance Harry and his wife still have. No one would begrudge them taking a hard core stance against the evil couple. King Charles is still performing Constitutional duties and light work at home while undergoing treatment. He'll still be able to make decisions .take calls, meet with the PM, (even if by zoom). An oncologist yesterday was optimistic about the King making a complete recovery, he might be bounce back quickly and belie all the negative naysayers.,

@@suej9329 I was watching a video a couple of days ago about a new form of treatment for many cancers, it can be carried out at home - so no tiring hospital visits - and doesn't have all the harmful side effects of chemo. It is promising to be a game changer in the fight against cancers and with luck it will also be one that can be used in whatever form the King has meaning he will feel a lot better during the treatment than he would with chemo. The video was about whether it is suitable to use with children as well as adults and it sounded rather exciting.

My husband died from cancer and one of the things the doctor told us was to limit his outside activities going to strange places where he might have to use the restroom or meet strangers because while. you are used to the germs in your own surroundings, germs in other surroundings can be quite virulent on your body in it’s weakened state. so I do hope the king will be extremely careful.

Thankfully the Princess of Wales also has a wonderful family for support. ❤

Richard, as always, spot on with the former royal now living in California. Everyone so kind toward the king.

I think Rebecca English makes a good point. It's not up to the public to forgive Harry. It is up to King Charles whether he forgives his son. I hope this can be a time for Harry to offer comfort to his father. I have no doubt that the King will be strong and tolerate his cancer treatments. It may be more difficult for him to step back from some of his daily duties and learn to pace himself. He has a fantastic work ethic, but that determination now needs to be laser focused on his health and well being. He is fortunate to have the finest doctors and family/friends who will keep his spirits high. I wish the King (and The Princess of Wales) a full and speedy recovery.

I disagree about Rebecca’s comment about it not being down to us to forgive Harry. The King can certainly forgive him, if he so chooses, however, the British public and Royalists all over the world will never forgive or trust Harry again! He is not welcome!

Exactly this!! It's not only his father and his family he had betrayed! He has betrayed the UK, the Commonwealth and parts of Europe. He abused and bullied people we care about, and he has lied and spread disinformation. He and his wife have acted abhorrent and vile, we have all the right in the world to never ever forgive him.
