The russians came out at the side where the girl provided first aid, that means that side is safe. The drone operator by admission they didnt know who was driving the car so he said "something needs to be done". If the russians wants to kill the civillians they have a clear sight to do so. @@shoot_shoot I saw a very short version of this tragic event a few days ago - I believe it's been on CNN, but I don't know for sure and could be wrong - this was a very well explained long and way more detailed version of it, great job introducing the drone operator, the doctor and the Ukrainian soldiers involved. The short version was more focused on the Russians emerging from the forest and throwing the husband into that ditch, what a miracle that he didn't only survive but was able to save himself as well. THANK YOU so very much for making this video, it's also documenting another Russian war crime on Ukrainian civilians!

Remember though that she really didn't know if she was following a trap or something. The balls it takes to walk away from a loved one, in that much of a dire situation and go to get help instead of giving up, is truly heroic!

This is an incredible documentary. All involved should be extremely proud. I could feel my fear rise as Valeria walked away from her car, having to leave her husband behind, all the while not knowing the enemy was approaching so closely behind her. I couldn't in my wildest dreams see the Russian military coming to the aid of two Russian civilians. The Ukrainian people have a military to be extremely proud of. I am sat trying to watch but it is quite hard to see through my tears. That is one of the bravest young couples ever. i wish them both all the luck and happiness in the world.

Isn't it strange how some people can be killed and not have a mark on them just look like they fell asleep and another man shot multiple times filled with shrapnel left for dead in a ditch for 30 hours and he survives against all odds this was a great story well done drone operators
