Honestly I wouldn’t be mad to see the squadra corsa go, this really has the potential to connect you with more companies and people, and no to mention to have a new plataform on the channel, I’m sure if you give more of a Damon energy to this car it would be great for you two guys to have your own version of a hoonicorn but you need to go all in with content and emotion to really sell the idea of the car staying on the channel for more than a couple of months. Good luck on this build Dave.🎉

I love the builds. Doing a Copart collision car would make the most financial sense if your going to be replacing all the body panels and suspension anyway.

definitely do this. the 599 should cover most of the costs, especially with the manual swap and while its a cool car the Bentley provides both your dream car and a real life race car. you should just focus on the kit for now and worry about engine upgrades in another year once you are tired of the performance from it

@@_paypar.out223 actually not in the case of the 599. in fact there is a million dollar difference between a factory manual, which this isn't, but the gated manual added aftermarket increases value in this car by at least the $40k it cost to install it.

I'd be stoked to see that Bentley build happen, I'll 100% watch a 20 part build series of it. As for what to sell.. With how much you missed the squadra when you sold it off last time, I think you should keep it if possible. I probably enjoy the 599 slightly more personally, and you seem to have a lot of fun driving it as well. If you absolutely have to sell one of them, then sell the one you would personally miss the least out of the two.

Go for it Dave! Having to pick what to sell would be tough but the 599 would be on the chopping block if I made the decision

Kit costs less than the GT3 kit TJ bought to do the conversion on his BMW. They had lots of issues with hood fitment and fenders...well worth watching some of those videos to see some of the issues they ran into...motor pushed back further, wheel wells much larger... Excited to watch this build if it indeed kicks off.

They didn't push the motor back or anything, just took them a bit to figure out how to make it work for a street car without having to push the motor back and go the full mile with it

This build does excite me ME big time. Your builds are getting better and better Dave.

Great idea for a build. My thought on it is to buy a used model a couple years old with decked out interior. Save a little $ in the process. Remember, you bought the Squadra Corse not once, but twice. You love that car.

Shoutout to the DDE Family for making @DaveDDE dreams a possibility!…definitely a huge favour that fan called in for Dave and making this build possible, I know Dave and Damon will make sure to take care of you with a one on one DDE adventure of a lifetime. What makes this build and vision so incredible is not only it never being done, but being told it will never happen by Bentley themselves…to prove them wrong and have a finished build would be epic! Excited to see this vision for a build come together and hopefully a reality, as Dave deserves to have a car he’s passionate about. You know if Dave’s willing to part with the Squadra Corsa, then he’s serious about this forever car build! 💯👌

between the squadra corsa and the 599 is such a difficult decision because he’s in love with both of those cars as well. I’d say let go of the lambo because i just don’t like the gold wrap, but it IS rare and one of a kind. For him to get the sauadra cords back tells you a lot, and tells you which one he’s ACTUALLY going to let go to get the bentley.

@@declanjordan3738 First of all Damon doesn't have "many" cars anymore. Secondly, even though they are business partners, their cars are also personally paid for. I expect Damon's money input towards the cars in the company to be way higher than Dave's. So why would he sell a car and "give" Dave a $200.000 car?

I want to see the Bentley build happen but I want to see Dave actually help build it. It’s one thing to have a dream car built for you but a complete different feel to build your dream car.

Love everything you guys do can’t wait to see how it looks when it’s done

If you can do it for 300k or under, flip the 599. Cheap to sell but if you want another they should be acquirable later on. Hope you get to do this build Dave!!!❤

😂 This would be so sick! As well would feel like a proper Dave build. Same way he took on the squadra corsa. This feels like a new chapter for DDE with Mike and Tim. Also Marks car needs to be the first official DDE wrapped car. Pump that baby up and gain another audience along with the die hard DDE’rs who just love this raw build content no matter what car it is. Loving this content.

Problem you might face while building the Bentley: 1: GT3 might have different engine position due to the front hood venting system/air channels (like the M4 GT3) 2: You might need custom manufactured spring/shock or the whole suspension setup for the road car to have nice wheels fitment. 3: You might need to cut up the car more than you think.

Not just the engine position but the actual wheel base may be different. Hopefully they can sort it out just like TJ did. So good to see Dave finally getting right into builds, He use to be in the background and reserved when it come to them, Dave a few years ago to Dave today are completely different people in a very positive way 👌

Since Bentley retired the GT3 program, it would likely be easier to buy a retired race car and add a custom interior.

I would love to see this build happen! I'm so torn though. It's obvious how much you love the squadra but I would love to see you do a crazy build with the 599... If the 599 can cover your cost to build it you gotta keep the squadra. That car is clearly your pride and joy.

I have a feeling dave liked the “stock” squadra much more. Some special cars really dont need mods. But yeah, you have to for the channel. Thats why the Bentley is is a better option for the channel. I dont think he wil mis the lambo when he has the modded bentley. The 599 is more than worth its money and therefore gives them not a lot of money when sold.

@nuketubescoper I agree and I know their main thing is appreciation. The squadra with it's rarity is definitely the better option in appreciation. But hey I know a dealership here in Joplin that they can get a gallardo super trofeo from and he's apparently damon's ff now too.

I actually totally understand this. I would take a Continental GT over a Rolls Royce all day. Its like my dream family car. The GT3 kit on it would make it the ultimate daily. My ultimate dream car is a Huracan, but if I had a GT3 Continental in my garage, it might get driven more.

Let’s freaking go this would be freaking epic build definitely would love to see this over all the other builds

A couple years ago there was a MK4 supra for sale here in the netherlands with the Bentley GT3 body kit on it. Looked exactly like the real deal but then with a toyota interior and 2JZ 😂😂

I think this is the best build idea I’ve seen period. It’s unique it’s with gt3 parts which is by far the most interesting exciting and enticing series on earth. Not to mention will soon be at the 24hrs of LeMans (btw if you guys make this you should do a lemans trip). I say dooooo it if you can afford it or can make it happen.

Love the DDE channel. With the GT3 Bentley V8 , it would be amazing to fabricate the GT3 kit from DDE workshop with aluminium , using the exact dimensions of the carbon firmer Bentley kit .

I'm sure you already know but tj hunt is doing a similar project with his m4 and it looks like a very extensive and complicated job to make the kit work on a street car. The series is worth a watch to see what you're getting your self into. That being said, this project needs to be done. It'll be the most interesting/cool builds you've got going on right now aside from maybe the 720

The boot lid has an air intake for the transaxle gearbox radiators and the outlets (what you call intakes) for the hood only work because the gear box is no longer on the back of the engine so that the engine can be pushed back to get it behind the front axle line and has a dry sump so the engine can be placed low in the engine bay

I think the Bentley would be a good series. It's a lil different from what you guys usually have built but I've never seen or heard of anyone else that's done it. So I'm looking forward to it.

The hood might be a bit of a challenge just like it was for TJ hunt on the M4. The RACECARS physically move the engine back and down to lower the CG, you may run into the same issue with the Bentley. Just a heads up!!

Shoutout to that person who connected Dave with M Sport 👏‼️ You can actually feel that Dave is super excited for this build. Best thing to do and still have the money is to buy either a used Bentley or one from Copart but having a little cosmetic damage. If the 599 goes for a great deal, you can actually buy the kit and probably a crashed Bentley together. The Bentley team is friendly, they had the 4 mischievous guys in their showroom with no notice. As long as there is no Cease and Desist coming your way from Bentley, then heck yeah do it and move on. Keep up the hustle and bustle YSOB’s! DDE ALL THE WAY 🏎️🏎️💨💨
