Olympiacos fan here. Your scouts are at another level. Salgiris organization is a mine producing diamonds year in year out. I just hope you keep them at some point because Lithuania has been one of the basketball powerhouses of Europe for over 50 years now (USSR basketball was Lithuanian basically) and you deserve some titles man.

I think that the decision to go without a "typical" playmaker this season backfired majorly for Partizan. When Goss and Walkup started pressing the guards of Partizan they couldnt create anything

It was a choke by Partizan but it's not like they gave the game away. Olympiacos forced their choke and outplayed them. Give Olympiacos their flowers. Look at Partizan's record at home and wonder how many teams could make this comeback in there.

Soto these guys make a very thorough and decent analysis. However listening to them throughout the game analysis I thought that the team values have been reversed. They were so surprised by the fact that Partizan committed suicide during the last period but they were not surprised at all by the fact that a team like Olympiacos that plays switching defense with great stats in the defensive rebounds sector managed to loose 18 defensive rebounds!!! That seems to me quite biased, maybe because they actually wanted Partizan to win and stay in the play ins. The fact that that seeled this view in my head was the report that Partizan lost the momentum in the final quarter and started to get disappointed with themselves and the REFEREESSSSSSS!!!!!!What????????? Did Partizan have any complaints about the REFS????? I am getting crazy. Guys please, the game was a complete slaughter for Olympiacos. It was 80-20 in favor of Partizan. Come on be objective, I am expecting a lot more from your side. Last thing was the preposterous assumptions going all in favor of Partizan? If that shot was better, if that offensive rebound of Laretzakis didnt commence(my goodness, 18 offensive rebounds needs some luck you know), if if if and no ifs for Olympiacos. Objectiveness got backstabbed here. Toni Kukoč gave some statements to the greek Nova guys after the match. He said one thing to sum up everything "In the end the better team won". Don't you please fake reverse team values. Olympiacos is a much better team than Partizan and if Peters, one of the most valuable players of Olympiacos played in a decent level then this much would be history in favor of Olympiacos much easier. That's an if statement that really counts guys, taking into consideration that Petrousev was out. I also didn't hear a single word for Papanikolaou here and Mpartzokas put him in the forward with small ball in the other positions and how that smart move really changed the game in the final quarter. Checkmate from Bartzokas to Zots. Guys I am so tired of writing this. Please next time try to shed some light on important match details with objectiveness. I'll avoid saying anything for the refs. What about the second quarter. Was Partizan actually dominant in this period? I'll leave you with that question floating here! Best regards

Its not that Partizan dominated. From 2nd Quarter you can see that they could not score, but Olympiacos offence was awful in 3Quarters. If Olympiacos was playing at 50% all game it was Oly win from start. Partizan were making so many mistakes and I am not talking only about 4th quarter. Its not domination, but rather very bad plays from Olympiacos that made the difference so big. If it was domination then Oly wouldnt come back. Also you mentioned about open shots and taking away Larintzakis rebound that Partizan would win. That point is making no sense. Olympiacos also lost open 3s and 2s. Sum up is that two teams played bad and at 4th quarter you could see how Olympiacos quality is, played well as they are used to and won. Deserved win.

We didn’t play well but somehow we won. But with so many obstacles this team refused to lose once more. That’s why we are so proud 🔴⚪️

Hot take as a PAO fan. We can finish 2nd or if we lose 2 games and tie with macabi we will finish 7th. This season feels a lot tighter than other ones. You could lose 1 place in the last few rounds in the past but now 5 to 6 places in 2 games which to me is crazy.

Canaan must stay at all costs but Brazdeikis, zalgiris can have him back , he is really disappointing

not a hot take, Trincheri IS better than Messina, maybe his looks or his demeanor don't help him being more recognised, but he's a very good coach and with budgets not even close with what Messina had throughout his career

Guys the officiating was crucial to form the difference Partizan had in half time. Absolutely disgraceful officiating. I was not expecting olympiakos to win.

Partizan was clearly better for 3 quarters but I think the refs played a crucial role to create the 10+ point difference. 2 terrible calls in the end of the half made a 4 point game a 10 point game. Partizan were a bit unlucky this year because if Kaminsky played the whole season like he is playing now I think they would be top 8(also punter is not as good this year)

One thing which is rarely talked about is difficulty of Keenan's threes, he rarely gets an open look and gets fouled on 3pt shot almost every game, yet his percentage is insane, if he took amount of shots Howard takes, he would definetely be top scorer in the Euroleague

Again , just like last year , maccabi doesnt get enough respect from basketnews , they just srcured the 7th spot with 2 games to spare, with basically playing away games the entire season , players waking up to missile attacks on october , moving to belgrade .. They are just as good as the 2-6 spot teams , just ask yourselfs how many wins would 2-6 team would have without home court ?

Don't forget Olympiacos Budget...He is a great team, with great players, amazing coach and the budget is much lower than these of Efes, Real, Barca, Panathinaikos, Armani, Fener, and still Olympiacos remains a top team which has many many possibilities to go for 3rd time in raw to the FINAL FOUR. Tell me ONE team that managed that. And also remember that, Olympiacos might have 3 euroleagues only, but from 2010 till now, has managed to play in 8 FINAL4 and 6 of them went to the FINAL. OLYMPIACOS is greatest team of the last 14 years in euroleague.

I like your show and your takes, but I think you are underestimating Canaans defense and him as a player overall.

Why are you so biased against Oly? Oly does this. Many times. Also Oly is superior to partizan. They were getting rebounds they shouldn’t. Oly allowed the game to be slipping away. When Oly got it together they managed to dominate. It would be a huge success for partizan if they managed to win. Partizan should have done a better job the whole season.
