I was hoping for Efes to get the 8th place as they are the only ones that could potentially kick out Real if they play the way they can. Now Real will go to f4 with a sweep most likely. Also Panathinaikos will probably advance 3-2 but I wouldn’t be surprised if they go 1-3 given they don’t have depth and rely only in 3 players not having a bad day.

Maccabi Swept PAO in the Regular season , and it was not a fluke . Pao is the Favorites bc of home court but Pao is the Perfect Opponent for Maccabi , why ? Maccabi is struggling against Huge Centers Like Tavares , Fall , Milotinov Because it takes away Their Monstrous Offensive Rebounding (number 1 in the EL) , Lessrot might be a great player , but he is just the Type that Nebo and Rivero Parying on the Off. boards , go back to RS games to see. I saw a Celtics vs Knicks game where I noticed that players not hitting their 3s lost defensive interest in the game and did not adjust. I mean, if you cannot hit your 3s try to score closer to the basket. It is that simple. But some players are so used to scoring 50% or more of their points with 3s that they lack a plan B if they are cold that night.

I don't think you can say who gets to naturalise players and who doesn't. Where and how would you draw the line? If naturalisation is allowed, it should be available to all countries, even the USA 😅 I definitely think players with no connection to these countries should need to meet stricter criteria to become naturalised. For example, play in the country's national league for a minumum of two years. Frankly, I don't think FIBA will change anything soon because more competitive tournaments leads to better tickets sales, sponsorships, and overall revenue.

The biggest irony is that Duško "made" that Čović's (star) team for the final four and then took over Baskonia and brought it to the playin. I remember your 4-5th podcast when there was talk about Duško's dismissal and arrival in Vitoria , and you said then that whoever comes won't be able to do anything because the team is simply too weak, the players... I think that Bianchi is the best coach because he took over a team in which he did not select a single player. Before the start of the season, Virtus was planned for the 15-16 position, and he was 2nd in the middle of the season and has a great chance to enter the playoffs. I agree with Ataman that he made a huge success but he personally brought every player and that team is probably twice as expensive as Virtus.Imagine Alba or Asvel in play off...who will be than coach of the year.

Nunn is the best PAO player by a wide margin and the purest 3 level scorer in Euroleague right now . If any PAO player should be in st euroleague team , it should be Nunn without a doubt . Lessort is guard dependent , he can't creat his own shot at all . He needs others to put him in good spots . Nunn is the polar opposite .

I get it, Keenan Evans is a great player, but I don't think you can put him in an All Euroleague Team looking at how his team performed. Markus Howard was the top scorer in the Euroleague and was key for Baskonia, who you guys predicted to finish 14th or so in the league, to finish 8th. He also scored +30 pts at Madrid and at Bolonia to clinch the Play-In. I think he should be at least in consideration, well above Moneke if you have to pick a Baskonia player.
