Getting old(er) is no joke. I'm seventy years of age with leukemia and cannot do a fraction of what I could do when I was at your age. Helping this elderly person out is "storing up treasure in Heaven". Well done, young fella. 😇

Absolutely agree, hope you are able to cope with illness and have quality time too. How true that getting older is no joke. Having good health is a large determinant. I’m 68, and always been active, but can see and sense that I’ll have trouble keeping up my gardening and lawn work. Fortunately I can call on a service to do some of the heavy duty work. And fortunately I can afford the cost (at least for now). I have a back yard entirely flowers, shrubs, landscaping. I just work on sections a day at a time and manage to keep it up. We have a lawn waste removal bin weekly Bless these guys for helping out these people.

Me also Paul. I dont have leukemia, i have polyschemia. Yes getting older is not an easy journey. Everyday you have to push. Take care of yourself.

I'm 65 and still do all this, but I know the time will come when I can't anymore. God bless them for doing this.

I understand. For myself, at 71, I do all this and paint my house, repair patch and seal my asphalt driveway and every other household chore that needs doing along with cooking cleaning and shopping & I take care of my cats and dog too . Each Summer I wonder if I can do it one more time. When you want to stay independent it is a miracle what can be accomplished. Even when I had a husband I did a majority of the inside and outdoor 'chores'.

Your son is such a great helper! Thank you for being so great to your community!

My son (39) has Aspergers and I absolutely feel the same! I wanted a nap, too, after watching all your work! My son’s perspective on anything and everything is so refreshing. He never has a bad thing to say. He’s very positive and a hard worker. He has taught me so much and I do try to see life as positively as he does. Thank you for sharing your life, love and passion! My neighbor got hurt and couldn’t mow his very large lawn for a couple of months during our rainy season so I mowed it for him cause we’re friends and they’re good neighbors. And it keeps the fire hazard down for the whole neighborhood. The world is full of good people.❤️

Man, I don't know how you find these people in need, but this elderly woman should really thank you for cleaning up her forest, that yard was overgrown, big time. You and Tyler did a great job on cleaning the back yard and it looks really good.

This is the kind of stuff we all should be doing for those in need. No charge no being asked to just doing. I really think that young people should do two years of public service or join the military then we pay for your school. I think people would learn empathy and how to be a better person.

That overgrown yard made the elderly woman a prisoner in her own home,(not to mention a fire hazard with door blocked)! That backyard was totally unsafe and she could have fallen down and no one would be able to find her in that jungle! Now that it is clean, she can go outside and drink a coffee on her patio. She can put some flower pots out and not be afraid of tripping over vines. YOU GUYS are both wonderful in helping someone who could never return the favor! God will BLESS YOU in return! Most dislikes are to stop the recommendations, and I found on one when I said not interested in a recommendation, it gave that video a thumbs down.

So many communities can use marvelous volunteers like these guys. One week end a year to help the elderly and disabled. Goes a long way.

@@ElCid48 there are a lot of people who, think the videos (where they do free acts of kindness)are actually a lie. In today's world very few believe in helping others so they don't expect people to do this type of thing, which is honestly really sad.

I think you and your Son are a blessing for people that can’t do what they used to do. Thank you for helping her and thank you for showing people that raising your son to be a responsible adult and to help people is the biggest blessing for all of us. Hard work pays off even if it isn’t with money. The memories you are making with your son and the people you are helping will be your legacy. Many prayers and thanks

I am grateful to folks like this who are willing to help out an elderly person. They want to retain their independence and remain in their own homes but some yard work is beyond their physical capability. We've always told our older neighbors if they ever need help, all they have to do is let us know.
