There are Ehli-Sunnah tarikats that are recognized by the government and parents can send their children to there. The problem is that the seculars using economic stiuation to gain votes. AKP has 4 year to fix this issue and according to The minister of Finance said, in 2026 our influence rate will be fell to the single digit. There are many issues unrelated with the economy but insAllah their time is done, it is İslam's time again.

Amazing I find a Muslim brother of all places.

As someone who is a centrist (christian), politics in our country and in general aren't so black and white as some people think they are. To me, politics are on a grayscale. I personally believe that we live in an age where no side (in terms of politics) has the full truth. But it's amusing to me how neither side of the politics in our country tries to acknowledge that they might be under the influence of propaganda, and it was especially during our last presidential election where both candidates were accusing the other of fearmongering. No side tries to critically examine themselves through external POV, and consider that maybe, JUST MAYBE, their beliefs can be wrong to some extent. But the liberal left (not the conservative / authoritarian left that Fico stands for) is overall one big hypocrisy. The word liberty is in their name, not in their values. You are free to do anything as long as you do only the things they want you to do. For them, freedom of speech applies only if you are freely expressing the ideas they want you to express. If you disagree with them even slightly, you are given labels and mocked. Everyone outside of their echo chamber is a moron.

My issue tbh is that they don't want true democracy. They want a democracy that fits "human rights", which they get to define as whatever they like, otherwise they call it "tyranny of the majority" (isn't that what democracy is?). The west is giving hypocrisy a bad name.

Selamaleykum akhi im a slovak muslim living in germany and these news shocked me really hard i cant explain it because how you said, he hates muslims and islam but i still wish him to be prime minister because i agree with many other things he stands for and maybe he is the best option of all. Because no politic in slovakia is going to be pro islam and even if there would be one, the people would not vote for him just because of this fact, it is really sad but we need to take it how it is unfortunately. My whole family lives in slovakia and they like him very much even though i never was deep into our politics or overall politics i always thought he was more authentic than the other politicians and that he wanted to do good for our people and not just take money and leave. We all know that there wont be no islamic slovakia in the near future but i hope that our country will prosper and that this incident will not damage it too much inshallah. And i hope that he survives this and gets well soon inshallah even if he is against islam we need a good leader and i think he was the best option.

I was never a leftist lol. Liberals in Slovak politics are right wing. Also we have no multiculturalism in Slovakia. We are not part of the "west". I am actually happy Islam opposes our stupid local cultures like binge drinking and beating wives. This is Eastern Europe. Islam has a cure for every society. I would say I still enjoy 50% of things I used to do before, I just don't worship fake gods, drink alcohol, eat bacon. The western civilization is a myth and I'm glad it will be replaced. Islam is the middle way. Being right wing or left wing is the radical path.
