They are playing a game of PR. They are pretending to assist Palestine, but they do so from a distance and only through words. Their goal is for now to win over the hearts and minds of the masses around the world, and the Sunnis by showing they are the only people helping Palestine. In reality they don't help them; and they make sure they never provoke the USA. They distance themselves every opportunity they can. And when they get attacked "by Israel" they retaliate by killing Sunnis in Iraq and Syria, as they did last night, in retaliation for the Israeli attack that killed 84 people in Iran a couple of weeks ago. Depends. There are Shia sects like the Akhbaris and some of the Shirazi clerics who think that Jerusalem isn't an Islamic holy site, or holy but of a very low level. Khomeinism though propagates that Jerusalem is a holy site for both Shias and Sunnis, and they're sort of a minority in the Shia world, but they're just the only ones with strong media and armies, hence why their world view is predominant.

This work quite well towards Ahlul Tasawwuf, especially those who inclined to Barelwism and Ahmad Raza Khan. If you goes deep to the Khomeini hypocritical agendas and Revolution movement, then it will all make sense, why there are Qubooris in Suriyah, Morocco, Turkey, Yemen, some of the areas of Palestine, and in Egypt. All the ideologies of Quboorism and innovations most of them I stermed from Shi'ism yet have been affected Ahlul Tasawwuf.

If you spread Shia ideology to the Sunnis, while you have an "agenda", and you DON'T teach them to be rejectors (Rafida), i.e., talk about how bad AbuBakr and Umar are, then what's the point of making them Twelver Shias? "Qubooris" in the countries you mentioned are all Sufi, not Shia, and if they're Shia but don't have disassociation, then according to Shiism, they're disbelievers, therefore Khomeinists aren't spreading but a heretical mix of Sunni Islam and Shia culture. It's true, there are instances where Khomeinists DID spread Shiism, but I mean, are the Shias who were converted by Khomeinists Rafidi? I don't think so, well maybe they are but who knows? Khomeinist media outside Iran is very discreet about those matters and claim they don't even want to spread Shiism. I think they spread it for political gain mostly though IF it's necessary. They did in Nigeria because it was the only way to gain followers. They did in Palestine because they clashed with Hamas in 2013 and even tried to create their own Shia Hamas but failed

Hazrat Imam Mahdi the 12 th imam is respected by sunnis too. The concept of Imamat e Kubra is in Ahle Sunnah. I would urge the fellow sunnis not to disrespect Imam Mahdi in hatred of shia Nevertheless, whatever this guy said is false Imam Mahdi will be a sunni, from the Naqshbandi Silsila as reported by Hazrat Sheikh Ahmed Farooq Sirhandi Mujaddid Alf e Saani in his Maktoobat(Letters)
