There are still about 1,000 practicing Jews in Isfahan, while many Muslims might be distant descendants of the Jews who converted to Islam.

If you‘re a true muslim you follow the way of the prophet (peace be upon him) also called the sunnah of the prophet hence the name sunni. That‘s why sunnis are the truest muslims. All sects besides that are deviant or even completely outside of the fold of islam (like the rafidah shia for example, they pray to others besides Allah which is shirk).

@ith3323 It doesn't say to call yourself "sunni" in the Quran. Nor does it say "salafi." "Muslim" is what you call yourself. Sahaba are not infallible, and Prophet Lut's wife was a disbeliever. A lot of people in the "sunni" sect just blind follow hadith with no critical thinking and bash people who use aql.

@@INFP5w4 sunni people only follow the authentic (sahih) hadith. Allah told us in the Quran to follow the Sunnah. Thats why he preserved not only the Quran but also the Sunnah (through sahih ahadith). Because the Sunnah explains the Quran.

@ith3323 Allah didn't preserve hadith. Men compiled hadith, which they think are sahih. Bukhari and Muslim were *men.* There are hadith in Bukhari, which some scholars say are fabricated and have contradictions. You don't have knowledge. Only Quran is absolutely authentic, hadith have different levels of reliabilability, even in "hadith" some are ahad and can be fabricated whereas mutawatir are more reliable. Don't blaspheme and compare the world of Allah to narrations that could he fabricated. No hadith book is 100% authentic like the *Quran.*

@@INFP5w4 they didn‘t randomly think the ahadith are sahih. There is an isnad for every hadith. And if all the criteria are fullfilled it is classified sahih. Are you a qurani by any chance? A guy who only believes in the quran and rejects the sunnah?
