The weirdest experience is when you hear an instruments only version being played in a public space. How tf is it possbible that this shop puts f.e. Remys song in the playlist!? Oh. Wait. There is a normal version aswell... My fault. ^^

Even weirder for me is the "classic" songs like Land Down Under, Stacy's Mom, or 8675309 that I hadn't heard before Remy. People get so confused when I shudder hearing the original lyrics because I've heard remy's versions so many times.

Legion is good enough as commander(oops, it's not.. overlord I were thinking about) .. legion in 99 over queen. I have overlord as commander and the first as addon. In other formats I'm missing couple lands, like 2 caverns and that new one that gives colorless or colors for creatures

There are ones that remove all mana and ones that remove creatures it does not matter if they are they will be put in the grave yard thats one chose 2nd is to force them to get shadow you get shadow on some of your creatures and them use the non shadows and kill

My wife pointed at a card I was admiring and told me she'd buy it for me. I laughed and then explained she definitely would not. A Foil Jeweled Lotus cost more than I would let her spend on a single. The clerk almost sprinted over when he heard talk of that card being purchased! She agreed with me.

I watched this when it came out the other day, and then promptly forgot about it. Decided yesterday to buy $250 in Slivers and make a new Commander deck because I was bored. Only now am I realizing that Remmy brainwashed me into Slivers...

Fun Fact: I listened to this song when I was very new to magic. It introduced me to slivers for the first time. They are now my favorite tribe mechanically.

Lol i love when the irresistable magnetic pull of the slivers even manages to capture his boss. Cracked me up.

I mean... you can play Slivers in a Commander Game, but dont be suprised if it turns into a 3v1, because even causal players know what happens when you dont put hard pressure on a Sliver Deck for just 1 or 2 turns. Love the song, as always super high quality and funny video :)

Nothing makes me happier than another amazing parody from remy and when I saw my local game store I can’t even explain the amount of dopamine that went though my brain thank you so much remy keep up the amazing work

I love it how during the song, the enthousiasm of the main character is transferred to others. Another great example of this is in 10.000 hours. I wish we could share our passion about our favorite game like this with everyone!

Until people noticed that slivers are even more susceptible to board wipes and instant creature removal than other tribal decks.

@@Kalenz1234 In what world? For one, they're in WUBRG so have no card restrictions and you can play all the most powerful supporting cards berfore we even get to tribal synergy stuff. And then when they're all indestructible, can tap to regenerate, can be returned to hand or to top of library, or deal damage to face equal to the damage they receive, all destroy or damage-based board wipes are off the table so you'd better be running Farewell or Toxic Deluge as the only consistenly reliable board wipes against them... so what do you think the Sliver player is holing up their counterspell for? And if you do somehow manage to wipe but don't exile them, well, I have access to Eerie Ultimatum, Patriarch's Bidding, Living Death, the list goes on... I don't think there is a single tribe more resilient to board wipes than Slivers.

@@Kalenz1234 there are a ton of board wipes in our group, but again if you properly build a slivers deck all your slivers are gonna be indestructible near immediately

It's come to the point I don't even need to know the song that Remy is parodying, just seeing him sing makes me Sliver.

Remy looks like he could grow a moustache in like 5 minutes which makes the sharpie moustaches and beards he always does even more hilarious.

When i first started with magic. I was realy into tribal decks and still are. but when i found the sliver creature type for the first time i had the same reaction to the slivers as Remy here. Except that at that time my budget was quite low and had to keep it a dream for like a year or 2 before i could build my first sliver deck. This song is so relatable!

@@rafaelgmota there are some different lists but basically it's an aggro deck with all the lords you get (a lot) and some other effect that help you to be even more aggro! isn't tier 1, but is not that far, I'm happy of the performances.. and it's very fun to play if you like the archetype

Slivers are always intriguing the first time they're seen. When I saw them in Time Spiral block, I immediately had to put them in my deck.

Be careful, there's a special type of counterspell that involves a tapping five fingers to form a fist that Slivers have been known to make people sideboard in. XD

Man, I'd never heard the original, but I've listened to the MTGRemy version of this song so many times, that I just had to look up the original. Didn't even finish a single playthrough, before returning here for a couple more loops of Remy's version. It's a masterpiece!

I have been watching this every night, and took me about a week to notice, that not only does he have them on his legs and arms, but also one tucked in by his neck

I think the best part of his videos is that I usually don't know the song until he gets to the chorus. As always, the chorus slaps.

As someone who started real hardcore cause of the Sliver Premium collection to the point to this day I still refer to them as my children, this song is incredibly relatable! Like disturbingly so lmao.

The timing of this is so eerie! My friends and I were just talking about how we miss Slivers and want more! Lol

Thanks for all these great parodies. My wife is sometimes driven batty by my MtG addiction and, despite being a pretty decent player in her own right, is often stressed out by the game. However, she's always enjoyed your songs and has been requesting this one. It's a banger for sure!

My Sliver deck is my Reaper King deck... it's a David Bowie Blackstar deck, I decided that Slivers are the Vorthos 'Spiders From Mars', the Slivers did so much work they eventually displaced Scarecrows other than The King itself. I still want to add one more Sliver, but who knows? Maybe one more sneaks in later....

One of my favorite moments playing commander a few years ago, finally got to play my Hivestone against my friend who was obsessed withhis slivers. Great track mate.

It's been something like 10 years since I last played or even owned any Magic but this kinda made me miss playing my modern Sliver deck. There's something incredibly captivating about the Sliver concept and this song/skit caught that feeling perfectly.

This was my introduction to magic in 2014. It became my first commander deck and is still my strongest. The only deck I will never disassemble.

Please do Peter Gabriel's "Shock the Monkey" as a way to show that Ragavan isn't that bad
