holy cow, so it is true. AR RAHMAN did plagiarised the veera raja veera song from this classical tradional composition. hmmm... sad to come to know of this.

Goosebumps.. I promise to pass through such a divine music to my kids.. don't have any knowledge on shaashtriya Sangeet.. it feels like sitting and worshiping in front of Mahadev .. All, pls pass on the shaashtriya Sangeet to kids..
They belongs to dagari gharana and they sing in dagar vani 😮..they emphasize on alap . They are muslims but sing usually hindu text ...they are generally known as gundecha brothers (umakant and late ramakant) salute to the great persons🙏

सुनते सुनते शीघ्र ही समाप्त हो गया, लगा की बस सुनता ही रहूँ, पर ऐसा खोया कि लगा और देर तक चलता रहता , मैं सुनता ही रहता😍

Gundecha Brothers were born to appease lord Shiva. Such a miraculous rendering that from old-age to current generation, everyone is spell bound with this Shiva Stuti. When they sing, it appears in their faces that they are blessed by Lord Shiva.

Gundecha Brothers were students of the Dagars! its important to get the facts right...this composition belongs to Junior Dagar Brothers, it is very much their style of singing if one understands Dagarvani Dhrupad

@@banyapurakayastha6985 That is very much subjective to your taste/ preference. However, the Bandish and its composition in a pattern was already set by Junior Dagar Brothers (do listen to their recording). Gundechas started singing this bandish much much later....no brainer there...notes may differ by a percentage, but the basic structure is the same as the dagar brothers sang...

Gundecha brothers, in the field of Dhrupad have contributed more meaningfully. The Bandish, old or new is not vital. They have ornamented Dhrupad with their innvovative style, which does not leave scope to compare.

excellent singing and pakhawaj jugalbandi. However, the background of lights and decor is tacky. The singer should have a choice of what kind of background to have and they must insist that it is not showy.
