Shirley Jane Temple Black (April 23, 1928 - February 10, 2014) was an American actress, singer, dancer, businesswoman, and diplomat who was Hollywood's number one box-office draw as a child actress from 1934 to 1938. As an adult, she was named United States ambassador to Ghana and to Czechoslovakia, and also served as Chief of Protocol of the United States.
Temple began her film career at the age of three in 1931. Two years later, she achieved international fame in Bright Eyes, a feature film designed specifically for her talents. She appeared in 29 films from the ages of 3 to 10 but in only 14 films from the ages of 14 to 21. Temple retired from film in 1950 at the age of 22.
In 1958, Temple returned to show business with a two-season television anthology series of fairy tale adaptations. She made guest appearances on television shows in the early 1960s and filmed a sitcom pilot that was never released. She sat on the boards of corporations and organizations including The Walt Disney Company, Del Monte Foods, and the National Wildlife Federation.
She began her diplomatic career in 1969, when she was appointed to represent the United States at a session of the United Nations General Assembly, where she worked at the U.S. Mission under Ambassador Charles W. Yost. In 1988, she published her autobiography, Child Star.
Temple was the recipient of numerous awards and honors, including the Kennedy Center Honors and a Screen Actors Guild Life Achievement Award.
She died on February 10, 2014, at her home in Woodside, California of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease only 2 months before her 86th birthday.

I LOVE SHIRLEY TEMPLE
She had always been beautiful.
I've loved Shirley Temple (Black) my entire life. I grew up watching her movies. And then when she was in most of the movies in her teens. She was a triple threat - beauty, brains, immense talent! And she was my idea of the All-American girl (even into adulthood) with her kindness, elegance, poise, warmth, and generosity. She was one of a kind! Yep, they broke the mold when they made her. What a gal!
Just like Elizabeth Taylor we watched her mature in front of the cameras from a child star to an adult looking ever beautiful tho Shirley discontinued her acting career to be a diplomat. She seemed to cope with her stardom fairly well compared to others. Her movies will live on. RIP Shirley 🌟

Till her 18th she already worked that hard, what other people worked till them age 30! She vorked to to hard from her age 4!!
That is lovely, thank you. She was born when my parents were born. It feels like a time sequence of their lives. As a child she was unique and amazing - there will never be one, not before nor since, as good as she was at what she did.

Shirley aged so well and was always so recognisable. Remember that until she was 16 Shirley was always a year younger than she actually was due to the fact that her Mother wanted to keep her looking like a child for as long as she could. It must have been quite a surprise to her to eventually find out her true age.

When I was a senior in high school a freshman named Kelly let me date her until I blew that. She was the spittin image of Shirley Temple. I didn't think I deserved to be with someone like Kelly because she was so beautiful. I will always remember and have Kelly and Shirley Temple in my heart.

4.10.22. As a child actress FOX was great for her career. But @ age 12, MGM were “inappropriate”. She was alone with the producer. Then he dropped his pants. Out of innocence, the situation was funny to her. She laughed! He was humiliated, when she laughed! He told her to leave😂See KZread(s) including her Larry King interview

No she looked like a teenager, maybe the style makes her “appear about 18” at 13 but honestly she had a tendency to look a lot younger than her age. She was virtually unchanged between 20 up until 40, imagine being blessed with such genetics! Truly a beautiful woman that she was!

A parte l'esperienza macchiavelica del primo marito (per la "fretta" di volersi sposare) ma rispetto ad altre colleghe di "stanza" Ad esempio Judy Garland e tantissime altre... I want to explain to you how the MACHINE works: In Western movie about happily ever after, the man said a certain person is responsible "for the gunshot that killed your brother," and they have Yale students following, and they are using superiority to do this, so without his consent they EMR'd it over to Margie Trinity (and what my evil mens rea had was, "I'm a little drunk and I need you now.") It's known that people warned Margie about drinking, and it's only the enemies of her brother who would say if he had a mildly elevated blood alcohol level while driving. Then they set it up. Margie did the same to me, saying I should know it's not right. Didn't someone suggest we have a room change?
