What a ridiculous comparison. Shirley Bassey can be compared to Al Jolson, corny Streisand, warbly Judy Garland or screaming Eydie Gorme. It's all about the blaring sound, BIG endings and W I D E vibrato. Celine Dion is on another level all together. As a vocalist and a voice. She and Whitney are without peer.

I've seen her in concert a few times and she never disappoints.

This is the top! Shirley has always been an icon for gays and for transvestites who impersonated her on stage. And this song is a very proud song for those people. So no other song is so much her!
