I just took a stack of air filters off, do you know the ones that you put in your home? UPS quoted $90 so I took it to USPS and they quoted me $125. Are there any other services you can recommend? These items together are only about 3 pounds, they are large but light

Thank you!@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter I didn't realize that if you go into the UPS/Fed Ex store, they charge you a 60% mark up for service. Even at the USPS they wanted an extra $75 for service. (Don't we pay for their services already via taxes?) Anyway, if you buy your label online and print it, you pay WAY less. I think my total was $22. I had to call Fed Ex to confirm because I couldn't believe the price difference. The store said as long as you have the dimensions and weight correct, they will pick it up!

@@jjj1981jj yep, that’s why you have to print out all labels online, through eBay or pirate ship

@@PrimeTimeTreasureHunter appreciate your help! Had no idea USPS charges that much for SERVICE when I’m the one packing up and writing the address on the box. So they scan a barcode and I pay the $100 over what the shipping should be 😂

Thank you! Much needed advice. Thinking about getting a bigger scale. Mine is only about 8” wide. How big is your scale to weigh that package? Thx!

The scale I review below works just fine. Either lie it flat or hold it vertically in place on the scale. kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZIlslc2fpci-f5c.html

All my big things I’ve been doing calculated shipping for priority - but it’s always between 20-100 for shipping 😳😳 needless to say usually those items typically sell to someone in Georgia lol - should I give them more options for the services other than just the priority? And which forms of shipping? I feel like the 2-9 days options are more risky because that’s more time to get damaged in the mail or lost in the mail. Shipping is always my biggest confusion with reselling. Yay for Instagram hope!! You’re missed over there!

Just set it to economy shipping. Then when it sells it gives you the flexibility to chose whatever service is cheaper. Add the shipping into price and do free shipping. Take my example. Huge box. Priced at 165. Sold for $150. Cheapest shipping was $21. Still great profit. Print labels through eBay as a top rated seller to get a shipping discount. I’ve been doing this for a long time and the ONLY time a package ever got lost was when I shipped it priority. Economy usually still gets there pretty fast or faster than the estimate and I’ve noticed no difference in damage rates. Normally, if there is damage the mistake is with how it was packed unless the postal carriers really abused the package. Hope this helps but yeah, definitely don’t just offer priority. Check your IG account. 🧚‍♂️

Prime Time Treasure thank you! free shipping is my next thing to tackle. It scares me but I know it’s the next step for me to grow. Maybe that should be my goal for next week! I’ve been trying to set anew goal every week. This week I’ve been tackling white backgrounds. I haven’t finished them all yet but I’m getting there :) slow is still growth :) thank you for all the tips! I really do try to apply everything you teach us into my eBay. 🙌🏻

Jessy Bellflower Awesome. Yes, free shipping will really help boost your sales. Ppl expect it these days and filter searches by free shipping. Plus, eBay gives your posts a boost in search for offering it.

I had acquired two of the large Lego brick boxes. I did get them for five dollars a piece in one of the Michael’s craft stores grab bags. But the length is 14“ x 7“ and I believe 6 inches or maybe 5 inches I can’t remember. So I think the weight of it is probably around 3 pounds before the packing. And I just don’t want to get burned. I saw them selling for about $50 with free shipping. I am not sure how much I should price them out yet. But my concern is the shipping. I am just a little nervous because it’s longer than the 12 inches that I believe USPS limits you on. I saw a KZreadr last week mentioned that if it goes over 12 inches it gets much more expensive. But I thought if it’s within the 108 inches dimensions that it’s OK if it’s longer than 12 inches. As long as it’s within the 108 inches. Do you understand what I am saying? Now I hope I didn’t regret buying these.

Good advice. Do you always set as economy or are there some items you don't such as items you can fit in a flat rate envelope or box?

Hi David. This video is for items that Re too big and bulky for any type of flat rate package. In those situations, I always set as economy.

I sold a 32” driftwood wreath in my Etsy shop the day before I had scheduled it to bring it to a store to sell because I don’t know how to ship it! It’s big but not too heavy. I just don’t know about scheduled/fed ex pick up I don’t know what to do with it once it’s packed up. The stress isn’t worth the money!
