How to resize boxes to ship large and bulky items safely! Make a box to fit any size item easily! Selling large items on ebay, facebook, mercari and shipping them may sound scary but in this short video I show you how easy and safe it can be to ship these high dollar and high profit items. Finding the items and listing them should be the hard part, not shipping them!
Quick notes: You want to find a box that will have enough room to total up to the length and width while folded flat for this to work or slightly larger. IE: a 20x25 item would need a box that measures 45" when laid flat and you can then score in the creases to make the new seams exactly to fit the item. I didn't spell this out in the video and should have done so.

Great tips! I hope you and others might get one of those box cutters with a scoring wheel on the end. Using the back of the buck knife like that makes me nervous. 😬 One slip and 🩸

I'd wrap the edges in pool noodles with a slit cut lengthwise down the middle. Then take big cardboard boxes laid flat and cut open and wrap it around for protection and tape shut on overlaps. Hope that makes sense.... a couple large moving boxes from Walmart should do and pool noodles there or the dollar store.
