Shipping a vehicle from Sharjah (UAE) to Bandar Abbas (Iran)

Cost of shipping in the UAE (in Khalifa Port - Sharjah)
1. Shipping of the Van AED 2850
2. Port Admittance letter AED 15
3. Gate Pass AED 10
4. Port Security AED 25
Cost of Ferry from Sharjah to Bandar Abbas
AED 550 per person
Flight from Dubai to Bandar Abbas AED 1070 per person
Bandar Abbas Customs etc
Pay the agent 200 US Dollars and he uses this to pay all the Port costs and his own commission.

Are you not allowed the drive the vehicle onto the ferry yourself?

Unfortunately no, as it is not a passenger ferry.
