IRAN - UAE border crossing by ferry (historical port town Kong to Dubai) | EP22

This is my last trip in Iran, and I finally entered Dubai, UAE! Bye bye Iran!
I went on the bus from Shiraz to Bandar Abbas, and entered the Hormozgan province. I spent one day in Kong - a historical town with beautiful traditional houses and wind tower.
It feels very different from central Iran because of its Arabic vibe (half of the population are Arabs).
The next day I took a very long ferry ride from Bandar Lengeh to Dubai (the ticket costs 100 USD) to meet my boyfriend who is waiting for me in Dubai!

It was very nice of those people letting you in their house to film what their lifestyle is like. The wind towers are neat!! ❤

As an Iranian (my hometown is Yazd😅) who is living in Chengdu, I believe China also is a cheap country too. I already lived in Netherlands too, super expensive country. But I really like Chengdu, the best city with warm people. Kheili Mamnoon for your nice video😄

Even though I am subscribed to your videos, I missed this one! Anyway, I sailed from Sharjah, just up the road a bit from Dubai, in 1968 from Bandar Abbas. At B/Abbas there just was a tiny wooden jetty then, as the main port was just being built. Like the other people who have commented here, you are very brave to just wander about knocking on doors. We did a night crossing in a Dhow and slept on the deck - no timing-wasting customs then! We drove straight onto Shiraz. During my time in Bahrain I was often stoned by the kids when I was out running (to keep fit) - but never by any big stones 🙃.

That’s the cheapest gas station in Iran! The second cheapest in the world. In USA, gas prices range from $3-$6 a gallon depending on the states you visit in the future. Some as high as $7 a gallon! Crazy, huh?
