    Great content. The KZread algorithm recently sent me some Pokémon channels 2 weeks ago. Spent like 10+ hours watching yours and others channels to learn more. Something new and fun to learn durning the pandemic so thanks for that! Supported your shop and pre-ordered a box of the vivid voltage cards. Looking forward to opening them 👍

    You said that there isn't an issue with shipping items in the $15 range with a PWE, but from personal experience I have several people claim that they never received their cards (even though I sent them) and I have no way of actually proving the cards were shipped out and I have to refund them because there was no tracking. I know in the longer term its probably worth it just to chance it but I was wondering if you could shed some of your experiences with this? For someone starting out, several $15-20 cards that you have to refund because people just claim they never got their item really hurts.

    Only problem with PWE that I've encountered is customers saying they don't receive the card(s) due to no tracking its happened a few times now then its refund city

  • @TrentStrong

    @TrentStrong

    3 жыл бұрын

    Yeah, its always a risk and the higher the item in price, I believe the more likely the customer is to claim "they didn't get their item." I would just bite the bullet and either pay for tracking or raise the price to accomodate for another over $10. I actually ordered a $60 Venusaur from TCG that I recieved earlier and it came in a PWE...like...really dude? I mean sheesh. All I would have to do is claim I didn't get it and you're out $60...

    This is a helpful tidbit on how to send cards properly, I don't see a problem with sending a card in a white envelope, I do see how some people will frown upon it

  • @jeferainman2990
    @jeferainman29903 жыл бұрын

    A cheaper method I have used for the envelope is to use a custom made address stamper on eBay cost about 15$ then buy the envelope from sams club 17$ for a 500 box then stamp your address on all the envelopes at one time. I hope this helps someone save money.

    shipping & packaging is the most important thing to fully understand when selling pokemon cards imo. it's the biggest thing that makes people get overwhelmed and not sell. it can be complicated at first. wait though... if you know the weight of your shipment and it's small enough to fit through a letter hole in a local mailbox cant you just ship it yourself? as long as it's stamped appropriately per weight.

"URI Length exceeds the configured limit of 2048 characters" on a couple of them or something else with a bunch of coding on others.. so yeah :( just a FYI... Thanks again dude for the very well thought out and made videos! :)

    If you use bubble, cardboard and a polybag, instead of a bubblemailer, it ends up being like 18p in the uk as opposed to the 24p it costs for the bubblemailer. Obviously, it looks a bit less professional but it's cheap, water resistant, rigid and cushioned just as much as a bubblemailer. Although that doesn't factor time, it's a great alternative if you have time to trade for some money per card. When you get shipping more cards, the right sized bubble mailer may be better.
