This scene plus the one where she dances in the rain to one music while the king watches from afar with different music being played cracks me up every time. And honorable mention to all scenes where she throws herself into water. LOL. Shin Hye Sun is a goddess of acting. She can do well in any genre. My absolute favorite actress. Can't wait for her new drama.

@@melissaagawin1119 I think she was scared. Also very possible Bonghwan was only feeling her feelings. And imagine what would happen if the Cheoljeong found out the person who attracted him was a woman -- he never showed any sign of being attracted to men, so hard to say how he would react

They did make a sequel, and retconned the entire love story between the leads Don't watch it, it's not worth it.

I love how the chef though annoyed Still acknowledges queen's skills

I love this scene. I wish they gave Shin more cooking montages.

Its the little things, like the handmaid's concern, the way the other chef assistants reacted (especially the broom) and the just cooking itself that really made this for me.

What kind of chef double dips tasting spoon!! But seriously I love her in this. Her face expressions are awesome.

I've just finished watching this program it was so awesome, exciting & romantic and sad. definitely needed a box of tissues. I've already watched it a few times. I definitely got some great parts I liked.

One thing: They should’ve shown Jang Bong-hwan showing off the very same knife skills in episode 1-just to show that depending on what time period it is, folks may think he’s that much more impressive. And it serves as a connection between the modern-day and the past. This is the same trick that writers did for the first “Back to the Future” movie: We first see Marty skateboarding and playing the guitar. In 1985, it looks normal enough. But when he does the same things in 1955, he comes off as being that much more amazing because nobody’s seen anyone skateboard like him and nobody’s heard “Johnny B. Goode” before.

Real fun drama. The ending,.while good, is a bit disappointing, and I think they could have.played with reincarnation to make it a bit better.

If i could i always opt for dub because moving images coupled by swift texts gives me raging headaches, but in this case i geared up with advil, my glasses and lots of drinking water to binge this gem of a show. Still gave me headaches, but i have no regrets!
