Because most of history is like this, there is a lot of bloodshed and backstabbing in royal families.

Court Lady Choi: "I have lost my ability to laugh a long time ago." This show was a masterpiece. The comedy, the romance, the thrills and even the drama was all perfectly blended.

I really love court lady choi her existence makes it more 100x funnier.

If she doesnt win the Best Actress award for her amazing work as MR QUEEN, I dont know what else to say. The character Mr QUEEN was created for her....and she nailed it perfectly. She got to show hilarious flamboyance as the 'mad' Queen...and also some really sensitive moments that draw us into her world and emphatise with her. MR QUEEN's role is no easy role for any actress to handle. It is an 'extreme' role that only a talented actress such as SHIN HAESUN can pull it off.

I was literally flabbergasted by her talent. Ahhh, I wish this show didn't have that problem that made Koreans not like it..then netizens would have admired her talent and she'd be the most popular actress of the year..

Exactly one of the most entertaining kdrama and my favorit of all times along with strong girl do bong soon from th original story, scenario, funny and charismatic actors to the camera work just everything was done to not make us bored and disapointed like other flop dramas.

How dare they try to come for this show!!!! Like...this is a fucking masterpiece

She is by far the most amazing actress I have ever seen. She is so extremely talented and also very pretty. It must have been SO FUCKING DIFFICULT to pull that role off. I strongly believe that most actors and actresses would have problems pulling it off like she did. Man, I am always amazes by the greatness and quality of kdramas. Mr. Queen is a 11/10 in all books. Astonishingly great actors and actresses (LEGIT EVERY SINGLE PERSON SHOWN ON SCREEN), high quality, sarcastic and perfect writing and story telling, beautiful and unique costumes and places and also beautiful and emotional OST's. This show is one of the greatest shows of all time. I was a huge fan of Empress Ki and it was so hard to find another historical drama that could match its greatness. Mr. Queen is my 2nd favorite historical drama, maybe even my all time favorite because everyone exceeded so well in their job and I am always very impressed by artists who can pull off all kinds of emotions through small gestures with their faces and their body. Mr. Queen cheered me up on my depressed days and I am very thankful for it. I love shows with dry humor and serious topics.

This was a unique, funny and entertaining series. Couldn't find another one like this one. Superb acting. Non-stop laughter 😂😂

I may be late but i just want to say to those who are doubting whether to watch this series or not, YOU SHOULD! This may be a lil shallow to some critics and may have left a lot of questions unanswered at the end but its all about enjoyment and showcasing the actor's talent.. I am so picky when it comes to kdrama series but somehow this exceeded my expectations. You will find yourself hating a character but liking them at the same time cause of their good acting skills. The romance and comedy is there and it wont disappoint you, although watching it dubbed may take away a small percentage of its humor when it couldnt be translated in a right way . Shin Hye Sun is the perfect lead actress for this, she really embodied that character and im glad she had a major breakthrough in the acting industry. Kim Jung hyun- it is my first time to watch him so at first im not use to him... (perhaps im biased cause i have a huge crush on Park Bogum and i only see him as a king in any historical romcom series especially in his role in love in the moonlight) but Junghyun surprised me with his great acting skills and charisma. All of the side characters are amazing and their own side stories will not bore you. After watching this, I actually find it hard to look for another series as good as this😅 Hope someone takes this advice and watch this masterpiece ❤❤💋💋✌✌ you wont regret it!

I like the part where she effortlessly try to faint 🤣🤣 she don't have any reason to give for why she tried to kill herself so she come up with this idea when consort eui fainted. She is really hilarious till the end😌🤣😅

This was an extraordinary drama!!! I laughed a lot! And the actress is super talented.

See these Mistakes were exraggerated that why the show was so funny and Comedic because a guy is now in a girl's body but now it's also because the show don't stay in specific time period, they keep jumping in and out! That's what make the show special! Honestly South Korean Youths Grow up and realize that you can't just be a Petty asshole to everything you see on the Internet, like for example someone makes a different opinion on K-pop and you proceed to Hound them for having a DIFFERENT FUCKING OPINION LET PEOPLE HAVE THEIR OWN VOICE STOP IT AND GET SOME HELP

The ending for this drama was so damn bad. I feel so bad for everyone involved. The King fell in love with the chef, not his original queen. Sure, the Chef is a reincarnation of the Queen, but their personality is so different. In the end the King will be confused why his Queen suddenly is back to her old miserable self. Meanwhile the Chef is alone in the modern day, leaving his King (and technically child!) behind. Atleast the novel made sure to include that the King also gets reincarnated in the modern day...
