I think I get it... since what Ryu and Ken practice is watered down from an assassination style, where Akuma seems to go all in with it

Even in this game AI Ken still does the three Shoryukens in a row.

"And so, Akuma walks back into the darkness, awaiting for a challenger worthy enough to fight..." *fade to black screen *red glow in the distance *suddenly rushes back to the camera *sudden black screen, then just busted glass everywhere

The Rogue Wolf, that is because when the original SSF turbo came out, Akuma was suppose to be so powerful that he had Ryu's super in a regular movie, showing off how powerful he was.

It's highly punishable though as it's much slower to come out. The double fire balls are much more broken...

Ultra Street Fighter 2 outselling Street Fighter 5 doesn't sound crazy to me. Ultra SF2 has an Arcade Mode, for one, and a much better roster.

Not everyone wants to (or can) play a fighting game online. Having grown up in arcades, I still enjoy spending hundreds of hours playing the Arcade Mode of fighting games. Someone with a weak internet connection (or no internet connection) would get very little enjoyment out of a fighting game that lacked such a mode. The early sales figures for SFV showed me that the people who don't play fighting games online are not a minority. The lack of an Arcade Mode was a dealbreaker for many people, myself included, and the game's sales took a dive as a result.

SFV roster destroys USF2s. You're dumb for even comparing them in the first place. Also USF2 did not outsell SFV.

I think one reason people love this game so much is it's so simple. Its just 6 attacks, specials, and the dude next to you. It was fun back then, and it's still fun. I have sooo many fond memories with sf2 championship edition on my sega (which I still play from time to time), and I want a switch to support this.

I missed the voices ..saying the country & the little plane traveling from country to country...wish that was in Street fighter 5

In SFV, if you pay attention, you'll see the camera roaming into the point where the fight will take place at. It's kinda like that but without the plane

M Arrington This is one of the main reasons I watch Max's videos. He's informative and he cracks me the hell up. When he did that damage combo of 70% to Sagat and made that horrifying scream noise, I died 😂. I had to replay it several times and turn the volume up just to hear it again because it's so damn funny lol.

these graphics and some of the animations were retarded even by 1995 standards. I remember playing this back in the '90s and telling my friends how every character looks like Ryu when theyre getting burned by a fireball or whatever.

Hey Max don't know if u played a classic PS1 gem called Battle Arena Toshinden on your channel before but I would like to see you do a Boss Rage on it or just a video of how you felt about the game if u played it back in the day

I thought $40 was a little expensive too, but once I bought it I got bitchslapped by the warm palm of nostalgia and it was worth every red cent. Super Turbo is legend. Also I don't really think the Switch is lacking games. Zelda, ARMS, ULTRA 2, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, Splatoon 2, Sonic Mania... I mean that's already 6 more games than the X1 had at launch.

Quality video Max. USF2 is probably the best SF game out at the mo lol. Shin Akumer is so fast man.

Udon did a great job remastering the look of the characters.

So what I've seen from gameplay videos and turbo HD remix, is that this version, some of the animations have actually been touched up and improved, in ultra, from HD remix, like in Cammys victory, she actually turns around in ultra, instead of just "skipping" to that position. The improved Polish makes the HD option look a whole lot better, in my opinion, but I understand if people still prefer the classic sprites. Also, turbo HD remix uses custom drawn character portraits, when ultra uses HD looking versions of the classic portraits, which I think is better than the ones HD remix uses. Fun fact, the guile sonic boom in turbo HD remix and ultra is the one used in turbo hyper fighting, instead of the one used in the original super turbo

Max, did you use the pro controller, the regular joy-con, or a arcade stick. You played very well with Shin Akuma.

Capcom really needs to do an Xbox One port of Ultra Street Fighter IV. It was already on PS4 and Xbox 360, but why not on Xbox One?

In ssf2t and hyper sf2 only real difference between gouki and shin gouki was shin gouki got the double zankuu hadouken and was faster.. not sure if they started dwarfing his health on this game or later on though..
