I was there for the live broadcast, but I’ve come to this video again to express disappointment that they couldn’t tell the difference between a 3A and a 2A. She did a 3A! Ffs. Anyways! Yay! Congratulations to Baby Mao!

@@worldhello7577 Mao turns really fast but tbh it still looked obvious to me. Also her coach was cheering a lot in the background. I don’t like the witch but when she’s happy on the sidelines it’s generally a clue.

@@HelTra91 as far as I know as a FS watcher, commentators are given lists and stats of the athletes to know about they're about during the broadcast. But not these two, apparently...

The commentators spoke over half her short program about raising the age limit, instead of letting the viewer focus and watch her program. Then they call a 3A a 2A, please we need better commentators next time 😢

There is something about her skate that makes it so captivating and I can’t take of my eyes from her. Amazing.

Fire the judges. She does NOT have problems with her flip.

The technical specialist was shin amano, a very well known japanese judge. Hes known for his strict calls

Why did judges call 3lzq+3t I can’t totally get it. It’s too harsh. Other jumps as well but especially…😢

Her flip during the short was also fine. It didn’t deserve the ! and during this FS I think they had a problem with every jump except for the solo 3lo and 3lz. But they seem almost equally puzzlingly strict to second place so I suppose they’re somewhat consistent there.

To be fair, the commentators made a mistake with her 3A calling it a 2A because she made it look way too easy.

I don’t understand how the 3toe in the first combo is underrotated, they tried so bad to lower her score for no reason, it’s so sad to see.

It was 3A alright. Who's commenting?! Do they even know elements?

@@grumpyuncle6859 If you ever go to an event usually the clapping is the loudest after falls but not meant to be mean, it's the crowd's way of cheering the skater on to get back up and keep going (at least it is for the sane fans)

Amazing,🎉 but I feel figure skating is all about waiting for 'jumps' now, this music is absolutely beautiful, so is she & her dress & an amazing skater..but why has it turned into gymnastics on ice? What happened to the beauty of the flow & dancing on the ice? I can't be the only one to feel this way?

Watch the senior comps then! Juniors don’t even do step sequences.

Ridiculous scoring. Guess why? Because it was in Korea and they wanted badly Jia Shin to win!!!

Nah they low balled everyone including Jia. I think this is the ISU's way of trying to convince us that the seniors are technically superior to the juniors when we all know that the Jrs technical content is the same or higher than the seniors.
