I watched Honey Boy while detoxing from opioids soon after my father passed away. My dad was a trucker so I didn't see him often. He was also a "tough guy" who didn't always believe in showing emotion or love. But I know he did love me. I cried hard while watching it. This movie is real and raw. I also grew up watching Even Stevens and it was cool seeing the references but also kinda weird now that I know a little bit about what Shia was going through behind the scenes. I'm rambling a bit. Anyway, great movie and congrats to Shia

I have so much respect for him I get a chill watching him on screen or in interviews. Such a real person which character and honesty.

It’s beautiful to see how we change through life. The choices we have, the decision to use that ability and make good from it. Moments like this help me see the good in the world. Well deserved.

I remember people were saying the same thing about Johnny Depp around the time the first Pirates of The Caribbean was released. All these celebrities have are inconsistent pockets of sobriety. I'm a country boy, I always liked some of the rolls he played as an actor(lawless, Bible in fury, peanut butter falcon) but I always thought he was a POS IN real life....spitting on cops, blowing cigarette smoke on people and smacking them on the head in a theater?
