This video is part of a series following the Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry during the Normandy campaign of WW2. Their objective was the village of Rauray and the ridge beyond.
Would this assault become another “Charge of the Light Brigade”, from The Battle of Balaclava on October 25, 1854, during the Crimean War, or would the Sherwood Rangers use their hard won experience for a different result?

As in the videos before I have created a map of the area depicted in the Real Time Strategy Game Combat Mission's map builder. The game engine was used to simulate the engagement. Some artistic license has been used.
