Yes! Sherri killed it. This took me back too. Double Dutch Jump rope was no joke back in the day. Let someone make a mistake and they’d “pay back on you”… or even beat you up!!!

This brought back happy memories. I was born and raised in Northern CA and the neighborhood kids also played jump rope, hop scotch and other games in the streets and yards until it was dark. Unfortunately, our small community was partially destroyed by the mill fire 9/2022. RIP ❤

Talena Your 1000 when you describe our Sherri!! I record the show EVERYDAY, I watch her live then watch the recording later. Sherri have me in tears, when I watched this show and Sherri got in the ropes and messed up, she looked like she said OH HELL NO!! Girlfriend was not having it!! Then she got her fancy step on!!

Nothing wrong with getting emotional! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾❤️❤️Sometimes nice little memories like this, can bring "happy feelings of nostalgia". My little sister and her friends in the neighborhood used to double dutch every day during the 80s. It's alright to cry too! sometimes, when I hear a song from my childhood(80s), I'll lay back on the couch or my bed and smile to myself because, I remember where I was when certain songs came out on the radio.

I went to Catholic School in the ‘60’s. We did not have a gym. So we did Double Dutch in the School Yard. In Rochester NY where we get a LOT of SNOW, we did Double Dutch in the School Basement. Glad to see it’s coming back!! You don’t need a lot of money to have fun and build networks!!! I’m teaching my 7 and 5 yr old grandsons to Double Dutch. It’s a great proprioceptor exercise!!

Pam, Catrina, Leslie and I go to the same Church ⛪️ in Chicago. I remember when they started with the Club and I’m so excited 😆 for the ladies!

Where are the 40+ double Dutch clubs in South Carolina, MT. PLEASANT SC , GEORGETOWN SC OR any surrounding areas . I grew up as a little girl in Brooklyn NY doing double Dutch, handball, jacks and other hand games. Unlike today children with electronics. Miss those day it would be nice to get active again at 60 going on 61.
