Really?! Didn’t notice. This show really gives care to details. Only series that repeated watching.

Every single time I listen to this song, I get goosebumps. I'm not kidding, it's insane! I always remember this part: "I took your pulse; elevated. Your pupils; dilated. I imagine John Watson thinks love is a mystery to me but the chemistry is incredibly simple and very destructive." ...and I got goosebumps again.

Always loved that scene, but I also loved the scene with Mycroft beforehand. He's a brilliant actor, the way he delivers the dialogue is so amazing. "That's all it takes. One lonely, naive, man desperate to show off. And a woman clever enough to make him feel special." "I'm not talking about the M.O.D man Sherlock, I'm talking about you!" "The damsel in distress? In the end, are you really so obvious? Because this was textbook. The promise of love. The pain of loss. The joy of redemption. ...And give him a puzzle and watch him dance." You can write the bases of a book entirely on that concept. That's what makes it so great in my mind.

Not only one of the best pieces of music written for film, but the way it was handled in the editing of the program was superb. That's what impossible love sounds like.

This is great music. My favourite episode.

Not even God knows what their relationship was exactly but they both viewed each other in a different light than anyone else. That doesn't mean they loved each other in that sense since Irene Adler said she is a lesbian and Sherlock doesn't bother with relationships but perhaps they made an exception 😉💕

I think their relationship is the kind of, “The one who got away” kind of thing. I think they both respect each other’s intelligence and are interested in the romanticism of their encounters and the game itself but they both know they couldn’t settle down and be together. They can’t exist as a pair outside of the game they created and they’ll both remember each other for the rest of their lives but can never be together, kind of thing.

Omg I'm absolutely shocked that there are people who understand me and support my thoughts about them. I'm absolutely in love with these too, but canonically they will never be a "ordinary" couple and will never say "I love you" to each other, but they don't even need to do so, they understand it non-verbally. Tragic, but absolutely brilliant
