I'm glad you stumbled into this masterpiece.
Can we just appreciate the two guys on the far left and far right keeping everyone's tempo and beat for the entire song. Everyone else got to do awesome solos and flourishes and then you have those two playing like lightening, keeping up the tempo underneath them for the ENTIRE SONG. What a fucking boss.

It never subsides. It builds tension and intrigue the ENTIRE SONG. It's like "Struggle of Sadness" from Yuyu Hakusho. It never ONCE properly resolves because it's is not supposed to. And it does so BEAUTIFULLY! It's almost cruel.
People just walking down the street beside a long abandoned building suddenly hear haunting music echoing from within the dark and either run away in terror with rumours of ghosts on their tongue or listen enraptured and prepared to pledge their fealty to the spirit within.

I love when each musician has their own little solo in pieces like this. For example, 1:20. Not only does it give them a chance to show their personal skill, but it allows the listener to hear the difference between individual instruments. Like you can hear different sound/tone qualities with each instrument, making it sound like each cello has its own unique voice and I find that really fascinating.

The only thing I can think of that would have made the video even better is if they managed to have the cathedral getting magically repaired as they played, as happens to the theatre in the opening scene
Well, I've never been turned on before by beautiful Cello music, but I guess there's a first time for everything.

Que coisa mais linda! 😢❤️
In sleep he sang to me in dreams he came that voice which calls to me and speaks my name And do I dream again For now I find the Phantom of the Opera is there inside my mind Sing once again with me our strange duet My power over you grows stronger yet And though you turn from me, to glance behind, the Phantom of the Opera is there inside your mind Those who have seen your face draw back in fear I am the mask you wear It's me they hear You my spirit and your my voice in one combined The Phantom of the Opera is there inside your my mind In all your fantasies you always knew that man and mystery Were both in you And in this labyrinth, where night is blind, the Phantom of the Opera is there here inside your my mind... Sing, my Angel of Music!

I just starting playing again too, after not playing it for over 20 years.
Every time I hear this song, it brings back the feeling of first watching the POTO. Unexplainable rush of feelings that can't be found anywhere else. This musical has changed me so much, and every time I see Erik, I see myself (in a way).
One of my fav musicals ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I love your music!!! thank you so much ❤
whoa I have a full surround sound set up with 3 15" subs and the bass on this shook my whole neighbourhood. Hope they like Classical.

If you want to hear it at different speeds, it is pretty neat. In "regular" speed, (or at least in my case) it is closest at 0.75x, or one notch below normal speed. But in my opinion, I love the speed they play, the whole thing is so darn amazing! Wouldn't change a thing.

Messed up the sound quality but I was still able to get what you mean. 0.75x does indeed emphasise certain parts way better and is the speed in which I've most commonly heard it being played. Then again, those were hobby orchestras, and they may simply have played it at a lower pace to ensure everyone is able to follow.
Astounding performance! ❤
So beautiful ❤️
i love how they invoked the introductory scene from the musical, the ruined church in place of a ruined opera house. if only the cellos were going up for auction, only to spring back into the performer's hands at the strike of the gavel.
My favorite thing about KZread is that the amazing and incredible artist in the world, like this, can showcase their own talent for everyone to see. It allows for so much more opportunity, as well as creative freedom, then traditional entertainment outlets. So much talent and creativity is wasted, lost, or never seen waiting for record labels, or Hollywood to never discover them. This was a freakin masterpiece! I feel honored that I was able to witness such amazing talent and art.
I don't listen those kind of music but this song is pulling me into this genre of music.
Боже мой, обожаю виолончель! Исполнение прнкрасно, до слёз. Спасибо❤

Can we just appreciate the two guys on the far left and far right, keeping everyone's tempo and beat for the entire song.
