It is illegal its not a street legal. It's for offroad use only. Learn what an E-Bike is. A sur ron by law is a moped. Anything faster then 45mph is an electric motorcycle.

@@lovely_sadist1237 if its a Class 3 750watts that means it can go 28mph maybe even 35. But If it is a Class 3 technically it's only for the streets no side walk. If you go on the side walk keep it under 20mph. As 20mph is the limit for any riding. Rad power, reav, super73, heck jetson ebikes are cheap $300-500 at Costco but only 350wattz while the others are 750watts. You only need more power for hills.

​@@lovely_sadist1237 I actually just bought one from sheer curiosity. There are a few on Amazon that are pretty sweet! Something like a 1000w-1500w 48v bike, maybe around 18-20Ah. They allow you to quickly get to 25mph and can top out at around 30-35mph and can handle almost any hill or terrain. Around $700-1000

They had to double check if you were recording because that would determine if they would remain friendly or not. They didn’t want to be caught doing something they shouldn’t have. Because if you weren’t recording by his reaction you definitely would have had a much worse experience. All that fake conversation and smiles and story telling is to get you to open up and think they aren’t investigating you for a real crime or made up crime. To get you to incriminate yourself. Also most police interactions that go south are perpetuated by the civilian. In almost every “bad cop” video, they’re clearly resisting arrest by flailing around. I can see why it’s weird for a lot cops to ask about recordings but tbh dude sometimes when it’s a hot ass day and it’s a long one at work, I sometimes get most, if not all of my work done and just wanna kick back for a few minutes.
