The fights took place on lies. These were school kid romance amd college relationships with people the same age. The sikhs just couldn't take the fact it was happening. The fights took place on lies. These were school kid romance amd college relationships with people the same age. The sikhs just couldn't take the fact it was happening. Many of the guys who were in serious relationships are still married today. Many friends of mine from that time are happily married with kids and now have grandkids of their own. And you ask how do i know all this? I was there when it all kicked off. I even remember the specific flash point when it all kicked off in joseph chamberlain college and the same night in the dome night club. Over a college sikh girl who was Gojng out with a guy from aston and they both went to the same college. It was tit for tat and the shere punjab gave as good as they got. In the end it was th3 girls themselves who put an end to it by getting the police involved bcuz they werw adults and made their own choice. Simples

Part of the problem in Western society is the delay of qdulthood for children. While in Asia, the coming of age is 11-12, for most Westerners, it is 16-18. However, Western society does not have any distinct coming of age tradition because of expense. This is why most coming of age traditions occur among the upper middle class, modelled after what were traditionally reserved for the higher classes. If the non-Asians do have coming of age tradition I do not know of any.
