$79.00 for a Boonie hat? Uh, no. Buy a $15 Boonie hat from Walmart and slide a straightened paperclip into the bill seam and spray it with water (shoe) repellent. Same purpose, same results and not supporting price gouging companies.

I got a nice boonie at Walmart for $21 it fits like it was made for me 😊

I was unsure if I wanted one you explained just what I need for the purchase feeling at ease thanks.

Retired Chief Line Forman…..33yrs. (All outdoors) and I know the basal cell and squamous cell skin cancers conditions and the results I’ve seen on fellow workers……myself …ear tops. Very light fabric….vented….chin strap…..floats, head band never stinks like my Outback and never needs so much washing either. I have the Raptor V2…..adjustable tensioner …..handy for amount of wind and hair growth…….. sizes and shapes to pick from. $70…..vs cancer surgery….shiiiiii t ! Many construction companies are going back to pith helmet type/style of hard hats with neck protection .

I've had a Seahawk for a couple of years in Olive Green. I had got it while acting as the Director of Ops for a Landscape Architecture Company. I stumbled across Shelta as I wanted a Boonie Hat. I got the Seahawk and the neck cover for my 12-14hr days. This thing is so light-weight, the no flop, pocket, durability, spf, and neck attachment/hidden pocket make this hat entirely worth the cost. I just bought my father the Osprey as he decided to get back into Kayacking and FIshing. That one came in the SB Camo - it looked really sharp. I totally recommend this hat for anyone, but especially for someone who wants the best. I like to buy a good product once, rather than half-ass it. I am not one to buy the LATEST tech, but I will grab the best quality and showcase something that I am proud of. To this day, I wear mine in the garden and on hot days. It has taken a beating from work, however, not a single tare of mark. The sun faded it a TAD from countless months in the sun and still looks sharp. My father, out on the water, will love something that's cool, moisture-wicking, keeps out excess sun, and floats should it fall off!

Got the sea hawk a year ago for the bwca trip works great. Just wore it tubing today and stayed on with the chin strap. By far the best hat when it comes to out doors especially in open water

I've got the Raptor V2 has an Avid surfer and body Surfer not worn this thing out in sessions zero issue over the last year with the hat is held up incredibly well. I can't say enough about how well this hat performs. It's worth every penny.

RED S7VN totally agree! I’m currently out in the desert and ware a shelta hat on my runs! One a week I hand wash the swear out and they come out as good as new! Thank you for for your input! Cheers!

Improve it by not manufacturing it in CHINA.

Thanks for the review , I wish I would have seen this prior to my purchase. I actually just received mine and the quality seems nice but honestly at the price I did not expect it to be made in China so many other cheaper Chinese options out there. I’ll keep it though, the look and brim design seem superior to my two Tilly Airflows I own. I kayak as well as Bass Boat fish so the “non-flip” brim is what sold me. Hopefully I’ll be as impressed as you! USMC 80-86

@@DUNEATV I do prefer the Kayak! Still getting use to the stand up paddle! My wire is great at it! That was her at the beginning of the video! I struggle to keep up! Time for a little training when she is home on the couch! LOL! Like that will ever happen!

Its the Raptor v-2. I have to of these and 2 of the Osprey. I prefer the crown of the Osprey and than the 5 panel design! If you go to there web site It will show you all of the different models! Hope this helps a bit and thank you for the comment! Cheers!

The Seahawk is my favorite hat. Next would be the Osprey and then the land hawk. I even bought a couple of the raptor V2, but I don’t like the round on the top so much. After all these years, I still have everyone that I bought. Not sponsored no kickbacks just really a great hat that I don’t mind promoting!hope this helps! Thank you for your comment!
