I’m an American. My high-school track coach Curtis Frye (a former US Olympic track coach) told me 40 yrs ago that the Jamaicans were going to be the most dominant sprinters in the world. He was very familiar with their sprint system and their great work ethic along with their renowned flexibility. He was right. The Jamaicans are a beautiful people with beautiful souls to match. Not surprisingly It took a world leading time to beat them for the Gold.

Love Shelly Ann (Mommy Rocket 🚀) Fraiser-Pryce loads. Poise, class, integrity , charisma, sense of humor, intelligence , humility, warmth, truthfullness, fun loving, openess, affable approachable, dignity. A perfect ambassador for Sport. Hope the Jamaican Government is watching 👀 and taking notes. You don't allow a talent like that to go to waste. Look at how she approached and accepted Dinah Asha Smith. " Dinnah come here girl" lovely warm embracing. Look at her relationship with Sherika, Look at how she conducts herself in an interview. Will Jamaica allow such a talent to go to waste. And I am from Trinidad 🇹🇹. Don't do like my Government. Class is class. Big up ShellyAnn. The World ❤️ 😍 💖 ❣️ 💕 💘 ❤️ loves you.

Look at her times at the WCH???? Fire power was the problem. Plus US brought in abbey+ home court advantage...IF KEMBA WAS IN 10.88 SHAPE IT WOULD HAVE BEEN DIFFERENT. BUT NO POINT CRYING OVER SPILT MILK. OH...REMEMBER LAST YEAR AT THE OLYMPICS???? 2ND LEG CHANGE OVER WITH BRIANNA WAS FAR FROM PERFECT...WHAT SAVED THEM? FIRE POWER!!!!

Believe it or not the structure of the Jàmaican team doesn't have a "coaches". Athletes are coached by their clubs or schools. And at championships there is a group called The "technical team". But they don't tamper with techniques of the Athlete. It's really a freelance program driven by the hunger of "those who want it"

The reason why Jamaica lost is because on the second leg, Elaine Thompson went out too quickly for Kemba Nelson to catch her for a quick enough exchange. Kemba to Elaine was one of the fact and Elaine to ShellyAnn was not smooth either but the hand off from ShellyAnn to Shericka was the better one.

All 3 jamaican female GOATS sprinters are great and unique in their own way!. Shelly-Ann "pocket rocket" Fraser Pryce is a great quick starter coming off the blocks, fast pacer and very consistent and competitive + her longevity is legendary!.She is the most accomplished jamaican sprinter of all times. If you want to beat her you got to try to match her lighting start right away (easier said than done!) because if you wait for her to pop like a pocket rocket she wil set the track on FIRE and resistance would be futile!.Truth be told, Shelly-Ann is an INSTITUTION in the world of sprinting. Elaine Thompson-Hera is very strong in her mid race acceleration, a VERY fast superb finisher and have a never quit kind of attitude regardless of her setbacks and injuries!. She is a FORCE to be reckoned with when she brings her A game and top physical shape. If she gets a good decent start and the other sprinters allow her (easier said than done!) to start gaining ground early on the race there's no one that could catch her and is game over folks!.Her style is very similar to that of the GOAT Usain Bolt; average start+explosive acceleration +STRONG finish. Shericka Jackson is a VERY strong sprinter when it comes to cashing up with who ever is place in front of her, her starts are improving dramatically and she is as strong as Elaine in the last 30m or so of the race. Shericka Jacko Jackson is literally a POWERHOUSE in sprinting, has the unstoppable power of a freight train when she's in acceleration mode and a huge competitor that is very PROUD of her roots just like the other 2. Jacko is the sprinting's world female version of She Hulk (the ANGRIER She Hulks gets the STRONGER she becomes) , the FURTHER the distance the STRONGER and faster Jacko gets!.She is great at both 100m and 200m but at 200m I think she will break records and establish herself in history as one of the GREATS in the 200m. If you are making a list of the GREATEST FEMALE SPRINTERS of all time , you got place these 3 jamaican phenomenal sprinters at the top of your list!.

Not blaming anyone specific but it's true it happened in the Olympics Elaine got out a bit too early hence why she had to slow down to receive the baton and the hand off to Shelly was not smooth either.
