No way would german cops leave a young boy alone in that situation. My friend once called the police because he was so drunk after a party he couldn't find a taxi. They came and collected him and looked after him until he was sober. 😂

Youre right, i was once puking on the street on Oktoberfest and went to rest against the wall for a little way (left everything on my backpack at the event before, i was at last responsible in that) the police came to me and told me to walk to see if i could be on my own, really helpful, police are straight up useless and a waste of tax money on to basically a gang in Peru

One of the times i was actually frustrated with Missy for neglecting an emergency CALL

That's not true. The season takes place in the late 80s, early 90s, right? Back then English was already a mandatory class in school. That's the case since after WW2. So it's believeable that young and middle-aged people Sheldon meets speak English.

Imperial measurements. Fahrenheit is used for temperature. Shall I drop "an uneducated (insert nationality here)" as so many Europeans do for we Americans? Or just say, she's going to use the measurements she knows. I'd suspect a German mother in the US would use centimeters for her son's height.

There are 17! 16 for the states, one for the federal government. The coat of arms is simply described: Yellow shield with crown; Then from top to bottom there are 3 black lions looking to the left. 😁 I know, the US are young... Write when you have completed your first 500 years as a nation. We'll talk about the beer later... THIS is what you'll be taught THEN.🤗

It's a bit disappointing that they didn't hire German actors to play the cops. Their subliminal American accents aren't too bad, but I would have found it funnier if they had cast, for example, adult Sheldon's German voice actor as one of them.

I know Sheldon is so annoying and I'm understand Missy sometimes. But ignore it an EMERGENCY CALL? FROM ANOTHER COUTNRY? REALLY? I hate teenagers so much...

His chase with the wiener dog was so hilarious. Why are they called wiener dogs? Is it a more appropriate way of saying “penis dog?”

How good was his German?🤔

There was no such thing as a collect call in Germany. Every child always had 20 Pfennig wirh them, for calling parents from public payphones. We know such R Gespräch only from American movies. This plays outside of Bavaria. You will not see Lederhosen or Dirndl there. Totally wrong. You will not hear folk music on the street in Germany. Nowhere, and also not 20, 30 or 40 years ago. Conductors in trains usually have a strong dialect even for Germans hard to understand. No way they could communicate with Sheldon. German street signs showing the distance to a town are yellow. Only on the Autobahn thwy are blue. 99.99% of Germans (and rest of rhe world) would have no idea what 5 ft. 10 inch are.

Another reason why I keep disliking Missy more and more.

I dont know German so can i ask how the boy speak German, good ; bad ?

As a german myself, it's pretty embarassing and disappointing how they picture german landscapes and the police back in the 80s. Pretty unrealistic. The accent is horrible and those cops look like soldieres from 1944 instead of real cops. Those scenes are a shame. Really bad work. Cops looked totally different in germany in the 80s

Jesus, those writers did horrible job when it comes to portraying germany. I'm from germany too. No way, this looks nothing like my country. And I don't get why it's all about Weinheim. Germany is so much more than this. I get now why all of my friends from the US think about Dirndl and women who look like Heidi when it comes to germany. Horrible way to present my country. Get your facts straight, writers.
