@@ValeriePallaoro My parents allowed us to drink alcohol when were kids. Granted both of my parents are social drinkers not alcoholics. Letting us know what beer, wine and liquor taste like. Which taste horrible when you’re very young. Will make you less likely to abuse it. There’s no more thrill and sense of curiosity. When your parents allows you to have a bottle of beer at a house party.

Sheldon Cooper being drunk does have his moments & at times makes sense. I give him thumbs up to let Howard know he'll be a good dad to his kids. Raj does point out that even when Sheldon is drunk he's still smarter than them.

I agree with Howard. Sheldon's mother is a grown woman, and deserves happiness. I also love how he explains what he did to his mother, and how he felt guilty. I respect him for that.

No, he has an eidetic memory, but he was drunk. What will come back to haunt him is that he can't remember how he got his rocks off or even if he did. And ... here's Uranus! But that's a later episode

The writing is just so good. The geology book scene, it was a great joke but then they just kept hitting it and hitting it and hitting it. God what a great show, I hope my seven-year-old loves this when I start showing it to him in about 5 years 😂

Re Sheldon guessing Penny's weight as 180, I recall in an earlier episode Penny was driving Sheldon somewhere and he put her weight as only 120 when estimating the total weight of the car to calculate its braking distance.
