Shelby Houlihan is the first woman to break the 6-minute barrier in the beer mile as part of the 2023 Beer Mile World Classic - Legends & Elites Race. Bud Lightning dominated the heat and Jim Finlayson of Canada set a new 50+ beer mile world record in 5:44. This race was presented by Long Run Coffee (longruncoffee.com)

This is the first time I've actually watched one of these and I'm blown away. Just drinking 4 beers in under 6 minutes without the running part is pretty impressive.
I'm glad she didn't lose or we'd have to hear her blame it on a burrito.
What was in the beer?

You need to spend more time on the other competitors, maybe a split screen? Seriously someone always kills it and we have to watch the same person blasing along. Mix it up a little, when someone is ahead by over 100 meters the mystery is pretty much gone.

This is silly. A top 10 1500m in the world. She crushed it and should be competing at worlds, but it was unjustly suspended.
Pure cheese
She has always been an amazing athlete, and is still drug tested regularly. She maintains her innocence, even though admitting guilt would have gotten her a reduced sentence (she will be missing the 2024 Olympics for maintaining her innocence). I believe her.
