The Chinese guy who won on marimba percussion was brill, can’t remember his name, is it Fang Something? I liked the guy on Iranian type drum too. Great creative percussive sounds with both his voice & the drum, I liked the way he used the glass cup, and the atmosphere, reminded me of that band I just discovered not long ago: (Black Midi) brill. @@deathhy7590 you completely missed the point here. yes they are lucky. no their talent isn't a product of luck. they are lucky to have other close family members that love music and want to play together which has nothing to do with skill. so please take your complaining somewhere else.

@@TwelfthRoot2 Again, that’s not luck. they all decided to play instruments. it wasn’t magically caused that they all picked up instruments, their parents did they. which is why we contribute some of their success to their parents, as well as their hard work. not “luck”, try again
Sheku is a brilliant storyteller when playing the Cello, it's like he's reliving every scene.
I came across his version of Leonard Cohen’s Hallelujah and became a fan. I like this Cohen classic as a piece of music and not as a vocal piece. And Sheku brought it alive. Listening to him while I walk along the lake brings me so much peace.
That musicality is beyond words. Absolutely breathtaking!
He just tied with and possibly replaced Yo Yo Ma as my fav cellist. Second piece was so beautiful I got goosebumps and wept.
Brilliant. So young and gifted. Bravo!
When i heard Sheku Kanneh-Mason music classical music became my cup of tea. Really beautiful I could listen to him all day.

Amazing he plays the cello with such passion. Well done Sheku.
listening to the cello made me cry tears of pure joy
I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Last year, I visited my daughter who was working in the UK. When she had two weeks off we travelled to Dublin, Paris and Berlin. Our last day we had to travel from Berlin to Oxford as she had bought us tickets to the opening night of the Oxford Chamber Music Festival. After travelling all day, we were so tired and said this is madness and we contemplated just staying in the hotel. Thankfully, we got there. The whole evening was excellent and Sheku was brilliant.
I can't believe how much joy hearing this man play bring to myself...
Heart warming, beautiful getting an inside view of such a great musical family...
This musical famity elivated this timeless Marley song to such a deeply touching melodic performance for the ages. wow!!!
This entire family is extraordinary!!

Alexander Han You were right!
I can't play any instrument, but I love to hear the beautiful music Sheku, and his family plays just for our ears to hear. Thank you all so much, from America.
EXCELLENCE!!!!!BLESSED and ANOINTED young man...and family... thank you...🖤🖤🖤
Such passion and brilliantly played!
I can’t wait to get to London to see this beautiful family in concert, that would be a dream come true, hope to see you soon your true fan in America Annie 🥰
Pleasure to watch and listen to
I want my son to now play the cello. Adding an extra instrument to his collection wouldn’t hurt much. Heck, make it simpler and adopt Sheku.. your music is so calming yet intense. Please stay focused, encouraged and keep GOD as the center of your motivation for life. 🤗I’ve so many people listening to you all on a regular basis. And they love your family.
awesome talent
Wonderful Family!!!❤️🎉🎉🎉🎉

What money can do for you heh.. Not hating btw. But clearly this was possible because of their wealth.

What wealth are you speaking about?
Brilliant artist.
Isata at the time of this performance was already an accomplished concert pianist.
You are wonderful and all of you play beautifully!
They are beautiful people who play beautiful music. There are people who are surrounded by dark and ugliness their whole lives, and there are people surrounded by beauty and hope all their lives. Both living in the same world, at the same time. And I get to look into snippets of their lives through a screen, while trying to project myself from dying by not going outside into the irl. 2020.
By the way, he is accompanied by his sister, Isata, who won this same award in 2014...

Amazing !! Both of them !!
Most amazing astounding greatness!!
Perfect intonation. Wonderful.
Sooooooo beautiful, I'd love to have a family that has such a deep love for playing an instrument n passion for music like this❤❤💕💕💕
Magnificent talent!
Amazing, I wish I was there in that concert hall. I had goose pimples all over.
His performance was the best thing about the Royal Wedding. JMHO.
Love your cello playing . I saw you rushing out of Bounds Green tube station with cello on your back , think it was last year sometime, I think you where doing some performances at south bank then. I’ve been studying Classical Guitar for about 4 years now, City Lit, loving it. I watched the 2020 young musicians. I’d love to come to one of your performances soon, when virus lockdown has ended it would be a very special treat to remember. God Bless to you & Fam. Earl Heaven.
Breath taking talent❤️
SIMPLY BEAUTIFUL.
I hear you and feel it in my stomach
In tears here!! Beautiful 😍
Wow. Wow. I didn’t listen to music. It felt like I was in the moment. It felt like I experienced the limits of human potential.
