Many of us "walk through fire" to go through life. For most of us, it's a gift and a learning experience that makes us stronger and better people.

I’m enthralled by her amazing story and want to see more. This would be a beautiful movie. Her story makes me so proud. 🙌🏽❤️🙌🏽

My mother was one of those women. She was a living saint

I just pre-ordered her book and can't wait to read it! She is an inspiration to me.

My daughter and I love Salamander. She loves the equestrian center and the beautiful horses. It’s our annual back to school staycation retreat after a busy summer of camps, events and holiday activities. She is as lovely in person. Beautiful story!

MY favorite is when Ms. Johnson bought the building that housed the gun shop! I would’ve loved to see the face of the gun shop owner when he learned that a Black woman was putting him out!! What a beautiful testimony of God's goodness and grace in the form of His strength and resilience as the salamander. I was blessed to stay at the Salamander Hotel in Washington, DC for my birthday this past May (in which I was excited to stay because of her) and I always wanted to know why she named her properties "Salamander," now I know and I'm so proud of her definition. It truly describes my own life journey. Thank you Ms. Johnson (Williams) for being such a woman of great dignity, class, wisdom, grace and brilliance ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

For those who haven't been. Salamander in Middleburg is just such an amazing and beautiful place. From the ground to the rooms to the food and overall ambiance it's just amazing. Her properties in DC and the Caribbean are equally amazing. Certainly worth the visit for any of her properties, she curates an amazing experience.
