Sheikh Bilal Assad is a real Lion! I have seen so many Muslims, who lose their Iman when a big calamity hits them. He lost his 16 years old son, in front of his eyes, in his arms. He did not break down, he understood that this is a test from Allah. He faced it very calmly and patiently and passed the test Masha’Allah. Set an example for the world that everything belongs to Allah, and everything will return to Allah. Sheikh proved that he is a real Muslim(Mu’min). May Allah give him alot of happiness, good health and prosperity in his life. So, we can keep listening to his beautiful words of wisdom. We should all make dua that Allah make us strong in iman like sheikh Bilal. That’s a very special blessing of Allah, to have a strong iman. Ameen!

Sheikh Bilal Assad passed a very difficult test. Imagine what it would be like to lose a 16 year old son.. He lost. However, he did not break and did not go into the shadows. He is with us, often reads khutbahs and tells the stories of the prophets, peace be upon them. I ask Allah to endow the Sheikh with wonderful offspring and success in this world, and after that - paradise, together with the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him. Here are some ways to earn good deeds after death: 1) Give a copy of the Qur'an to someone. Each time one reads from it you gain. 2) Donate a wheelchair to a hospital. Each time a sick person uses it you gain. 3) Participate in building a masjid. 4) Place a watercooler in a public space. 5) Plant a tree. You gain whenever a person or an animal sits in its shade or eats from it. 6) And the easiest of all, share this message to spread the goodness.

Another is to play part in teaching someone something good like ayas or suras of the quran, that way everytime they recite you gain.

Assalamu alaykom wa rahma'tullah wa barakatuh, is the cutting of branches not restricted to the haram masjid and surrounding areas? Does that make cut flowers haram, and keeping gardens in good order [by removing branches that cover pathways, and can cause damage to pipe work if left to grow etc... impermissable?
